    Morning

Congrats Delain - that's lovely news. Best get saving now for all the weddings :D

Got loads to do today. Got work to do this morning, then when I get home I need to finish off sorting out the laundry, got loads of typing to finish off work for and need to start sorting out holiday stuff. Will probably leave the packing until the morning as I hate packing.

Have a good day all xx

I can highly, highly recommend a mountain buggy, or the cheaper option of the nipper 360....Both are fab xx

Oooh I love the moutain buggies but they are just a bit too pricey :o worth every penny I'm sure though!

Madbird, Dylan is gorgeous, can't believe he is 7 weeks already!!

    Congratulations Delain!

The weather is just pants up here, I am well and trully fed up with it, DH has been on hols and we have only managed one day away as it has been so bad (have taken the opportunity to paint the bedroom:)), he is off this week too and by the looks of things it's going to be the same :( Hope it's nice for Friday, it's DD's 4th birthday, we have got her a trampoline but wont be much use if it's peeing rain!!

We seem to be having a festival of poo and wee here today :( It looked like the day was starting off so well too, as Joe didn't wake up til 8 (though that was most likely down to him being up for around an hour from 10:30 last night). But when DH went in to get him it turned out he'd done a huge sloppy poo that had escaped. It took 2 of us to clean him up, then when I was just about to put the clean nappy on he did a wee fountain  That went everywhere. DH was quite impressed at how far up the wall it went though :rotfl:

Then we got down stairs to discover that not only had the cat decided to do a wee in the paper recycling box, but he'd also done a poo in Joe's car seat  Luckily it was a firm one (sorry if TMI!), so not too much of a trauma to clean up. The car seat covers have gone in the washing machine but I also need to clean the straps. It's a good job we have the new car seat now (it was the old infant seat that got pood in, which we are still using until Joe grows out of it).

DH has assured me that he hasn't gone to the toilet anywhere he shouldn't have :rotfl:

Very odd that the cat has gone to the loo in the house though. We did used to have a litter tray but got rid because it was never used. I hope it's not a sign that he's ill as we've already lost one cat recently :(

We are going out for lunch with some friends later, hopefully the weather will stay dry so we can walk to the pub which is about a mile away. And I have the day off tomorrow as the CM is on holiday :) Joe will go to his grandparents as usual on Tuesday and then DH has taken the rest of the week off.

Congratulations on team pink delain :T Your poor OH is sooooo outnumbered!

Dylan's a real cutie, madbird. Congratulations!

Joe's vtech walker arrived yesterday and it was definitely money well spent as he LOVES it :D He was having a really grumpy day as he has 3 top teeth all coming through at once, but he really cheered up when we got it out.

Dylan is gorgeous I agree :)

BigBird, we all have days like that sometimes, I feel your pain. I had the night from hell once when all 3 of my girls came down with a vomiting bug on the same night _pale_ We ran completely out of bedding by 3am and I honestly thought I was going to drown!

Squeak must have enjoyed the sea and all the fresh air the last couple of days, because although it took her a long time to go to bed she slept until 8.30 this morning with the whole time in her own bed :T

DD1 is being a right pain in the bum, in fact Twin1 has been totally victimised by the other two, so I said she could go with OH (He's got to collect some ebay bits and have a look in Halfords at car seats for Squeak) and DD1 kicked off big style, shouting, screaming, yelling at me. Then she decided whilst OH was sorting the car out that it was all his fault and was screaming at me that it's all because of him, and that she's only in trouble because of him (which isn't true - I don't tolerate bullying and it was me that told her off) and then he came in to see if anyone's behaviour had improved with a view to maybe taking one more if they were genuinely sorry, cue DD1 being all upset and shouting that how was she meant to know that was going to happen! Have told her that screaming and shouting will get her nowhere.

My nan now thinks I'm the wicked witch of the west and I'm not entirely sure why. Aren't families fun!

    Thanks everyone :)

    Congrats Delain, very MSE lol.

Advice please! Dylan is getting out of routine with his 5 feeds in 24 hours. Last night he had half a 180 ml bottle and was in bed before 8. I was so restless I woke him and he had the rest just before 1.

At 4 he did his usual grunting, wasn't interested in feed, just did his nappy, then he woke at 8 and had bottle. Had another one about an hour ago. Do you think its worth me "cramming in" the 5 before bedtime, with the last one being a hungry milk? Last 3 nights he has been uninterested in a full feed between 3 and 5 so I wonder if he is close to sleeping through. Usually he has fed between 3 & 5am, 7-9am, 12-2pm and 5-6pm and bedtime around 8pm. I don't like to wake him for a feed in the day, hence 2 hour ish slots if you like which he has been sticking to for last few weeks.
:heart2:Baby boy madbird arrived 15/06/11 by emergency csection weighing 9lb 13oz:eek: love him so much xx:heart2:

    Morning

Just logging in to say bye bye!

Off to Menorca today. Going to Cala Santandria which is a tiny quiet resort with a lovely beach. Hotel is all inclusive so I can do nothing all week and have plenty of time with my children. Really looking forward to getting away and chilling out.

    See you next week :D

    Hi guys,
I've just found this thread (lurked last year on the pregnancy thread recognise a few names!). I haven't actively used the site for a while now so have reregistered and popped in to say hello!

I am mum to DD aged 9 months, still on maternity leave for a few more months but starting to go through the steps with work to hopefully go back part time.

DD has stopped wanting to eat anything off the spoon (except pudding!!) so does anyone have any suggestions for good finger foods to try?
