Becles the ruin sounds fab
We have a nice big church and a couple of ruins in our town that we sometimes go to, you can get there on the bus though lol. I don't know what we're doing today, really I should carry on cleaning this tip, but I'd like to take the twins somewhere whilst it's just them and Squeak. Although they love going to my nan's so they'll have an amazing couple of days there.
My mum is getting funny about having DD1 for an extra night, I think she had to cancel something, and I did say to her at the time, if there's a problem, say so, you don't have to do anything, if you're busy we'll work something out and she said no it's fine now last night she rang me and was a bit ranty about everything in general.
Twins are playing in their room, haven't come downstairs, or even opened the door! It's amazing, you can bet if I was still sleeping they'd have been yelling outside my door by now :rotfl:
Ah well. Suppose I should really go and do something

Bigbird how about brioche (with choc chips even;)) You can get the individually wrapped ones in a big pack. Daisy also has breadsticks, rice cakes, the organix crisps, cherry toms, rich tea biccies etc.
Rach I don't think I congratulated you on your new job:D
Becles it's looking quite bad for the rain tomorrow I hope it misses you;)

Brioche is a good idea, twins used to love it. Apparently it makes nice bread and butter pudding

How is life treating you Smartie? Has Daisy finally given in and let you sleep?Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession

Welcome to all the new ladies and babies. I remember some of you vaguely from the pregnancy board.
Suddenly its all happening with us, feels like LO is really growing up, sitting up, weaning, chattering away (baba, dada) and now we finally have a little tooth poking thru too. I'll have to post a piccie (haven't done so since she was born) once I figure out how to do so.We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0 -
Still forecast rain tomorrow - booooo! Not fair when I have taken the day off work on purpose!
This is the castle and I've wanted to visit it for years but never got round to going:
Here I go again on my own....0 -
Hope you have a good day today becles.
It's raining lightly here but it's still far too hot - was 27 in L's room overnight and 26 in there now. Our feral neighbours were shouting and screaming all evening til 11pm last night, then started again at 1am
really hope the house exchange goes through soon!
DH had offered to get up with L this morning but as it's his birthday i thought it was a bit mean to take him up on it! I'm exhausted after a bad night's sleep though so being a naughty mummy and stuck baby tv on to at least keep his attention away from the plugs for a bit!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Rach there is nothing wrong with that! It's not like it's 24/7. I have recorded some Waybuloo for Squeak, as that and Something Special are the only things she pays attention to, and she sits with me to watch it, and she's so sweet with her 'aaahboo' as it sounds
Maybe I should do it now, she's emptying the paper bin
Becles I hope you got the weather you wanted
We woke up to a torrential downpour this morning much to my surprise after the 27degree heat all week. Hopefully it will be like this all the way to OH's mums so I don't have to worry about the sun getting on Squeaky in the back of the car.
The clock on Daybreak thinks it's 6.55? I'm sure that's wrong as the clocks all say 7.55! I wonder if that's going to make anyone late for work?
I tend to watch the BBC weather but I'm going to look it up online today, for here to pack the kids bags and for cornwall to pack ours

is it your scan today delain?
I must record a few tv bits. we had some itng recorded and then the box got full so we deleted them. I just personally don't like tv on all the time in the background but i think sometimes it's nice for them (and us!)
I've just ordered this for L - seems a good price - FISHER PRICE GARAGEMum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
hi everyone
not been on here for ages.
the fisher price garage is great. K loves to play with his. he got it last christmas (15 mths then) and its only lately he has played with it properly. he did go through a stage of climbing on top of it so it was confiscated for a few weeks.
his current fascination in Thomas tank Engine. we are currently watching the DVD again. was a bagainous £3.99 for a full series on amazon and K loves it so its ok.
off to chester zoo and chester on sun/mon am really looking forward to it.
have also booked our flights to Dublin for xmas and i am really excited/nervous as i will be flying with K on my own, but at least this time he has his own seat.'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
I just rang them to check the time for today and they said it was meant to be yesterday!
They were very nice about it and fitted me in for today, apparently it happens all the time because asking pregnant ladies to remember to be somewhere can be hit and miss :rotfl: Makes a change to speak tp someone nice at recetion, NHS receptionists do have a reputation for being power crazed harpies but this one certainly wasn't, she was lovely
I will try to update, if I can't get back on I'll let you all know on Saturday.
I'm off to get in the shower, I am not going away with greasy hair!
Hope everyone has a good couple of days if I can't get back on :wave:Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession
