Hi all. This is the second day LO has had the runs :(. 8 runny nappies yesterday and we are on 5 so far today. I'm in work all day tomorrow and she needs to go to the creche, so hopefully it clears up. I suspect it's a bug she picked up at her settling in day at the creche. I hope this isn't going to be a constant thing.

    Hi All

I can officially post here now :D baby was born on 27th July weighing 7lb 7oz

She's doing brilliantly so far, breastfeeding is going well and she's already surpassed her birth weight so we're happy.

Congrats Apricot! She is beautiful and your birth story seemed to be a very positive one! This thread moves a lot slower than the pregnancy thread, thankfully, otherwise us mums would find it hard to keep up!

Apricot she's gorgeous! Am very jealous of your quick labour though. :p

CL, I can sympathise. Amy has been on antibiotics for 2 weeks and is on them for the forseeable future and they've given her awful nappies to the point that despite our best efforts she has nappy rah quite badly. Hope your LO is better soon.

I need to get my hair cut! I was just about to leave for the hairdressers when I had my bleed when pregnant and ended up being admitted instead, still haven't made it yet lol.

Had a good day at the museum until Charlotte fell into a pond :o Luckily it was just one foot and her lower leg that got wet, but she was twisty about her soggy foot after that :o

    And from me. xxx

CL - hope LO's nappies clear up too

welcome to the new ladies, lovely to have some new people here :)

Apricot - welcome, Lily is gorgeous!

BigBird - I do things like muffin pizzas out and about too, in fact L and sir M's t had them today (courtesy of sir m being organised!) in Starbucks! L seems to prefer cold food. If I'm packing up a lunch for him which I did a lot on hols if I wasn't sure where we'd be I often do a pitta with soft cheese - just open up the pitta, fill with soft cheese and put lid back on, cut into fingers. I also take cold pasta, halved or quartered cherry toms, breadsticks (i've got the plum salt free ones), rice cakes, fruit, frozen frube fromage frais sticks, strips of cheese... same as at home really

re hair: i got the chop recently and love it. friends sister came to the house to do it, half the price of the salon and she did a better job tbh!

My baby won't sleeeeep :( I know it's her teeth but she must have woken me up 11 or 12 times last night :(

Then she had the barefaced cheek to be up with the birds!

Have told OH he's on baby duty tonight and I am just going to poke him when she starts ;)

Trouble is he gets up for work quite early and so he can't bring her down and play for a bit if he started even at 9 it would be lovely, just to have an hour or two of unbroken sleep.

She is now on my knee enthusiastically 'helping' me by bashing the keyboard and saying 'Ooooh' :rotfl: which is cute. Although she keeps bringing up windows help and support which is annoying.

The worst thing is, the twins are actually still asleep, and this time last year I would have been too! Sorry for the selfish whinge, I just feel like I've not slept for a week, and I'm starting to get the Vampire look with the pale skin and the big dark circles :(

    Oh well. Scan tomorrow!

Hope all is well for everyone

    Morning

Didn't sleep well here either. Woke up because I was too warm and then couldn't get back to sleep :(

Busy day today with loads of work to do.

Looked at the weather forecast for tomorrow and it's going to rain all day. We were going to Dunstanburgh Castle which is a remote ruin in Northumberland on the coast. You have to park up and walk a couple of miles to get to it and we were going to take a picnic. Collective vibes needed to get rid of the rain clouds :D

Have a good day all xx

You can send the rain over here for tomorrow Becles. I'm in work all day anyway. I was supposed to be in work today, but had to reschedule because LO still seems to have the runs. Just as long as we can have a dry day on Saturday for my BF's wedding. We have my mum and my neice looking after LO and we have the whole day to ourselves and an overnight stay. I can't wait. My BF will be the most stunning bride!
