Baths and defleaing in here..

At least we have only 2 weeks left of school then I can get rid of the infernal bugs for a whole 6.5 weeks... BLISS!!! I can't wait!!!
We ae taking the remaining gibble from the girls room today so I am hoping to fill half the streets bins with my flinging! I want to go through DD2's clothes as well.. not only does she have far too many there are loads that won't fit in her cupboard.. and I am sorting some from the smaller girls to send to their dads... though, I know this sounds awful, a lot of what he has bought them is going to nursery.. I don't want to see the girls wearing horrible scruffy cheap nasty clothes when they have drawers full of lovely stuff... he told them they have to wear what he bought! Anyway, .. it is going.. and all the little knickers.. FLING... I got them all new ones for back to school.
You know what I love about being a mum... Finding other peoples bogies dried to a crisp in my hair ... how lovely is that.. has anyone managed to get hold of ashton and parsons anywhere? There's problems with getting supplies in as they're changing packageing but apparantly some shops have them in stock.
We found some in boots in Waterloo
Went to 4 other pharmacies though (including one other boots) before finding them though. I got told there were supply problems and that only Boots now stock them.

I havent been able to get any for months- have one packet i got off a friend which i am rationing- only using when absolutely needed and making do with teething gel other times.
I was told it was because shops dont sell them anymore as certain people use them to pad out certain illegal substances!
They've been doing that with powdered glucose, talcum powder and a myriad of other things you can still buy for years, so I'm not sure it's that
Bad day with ex mil, had words with her this morning and she obviously wasn't listening  solicitor letter it is then
I hope everyone is OK and has better weather than us, has come over all dark and looks like rain.
Squeak is asleep and I really should be doing housework, so off I go :wave:Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession

thanks for your advice re ashton and parsons. I've ordered some from amazon. The price has more than doubled since I had DS but I'm sure that's because of high demand.
elainec, i read that on the internet but I asked my pharmacist why they couldn't get it, if it was because product unsafe. She said it was delays with changing packaging??0 -
Evening ladies!!
Well it's been a baking hot day today! Went to the car boot this morning and got a rainforest jumperoo for £20 so I was a very happy bunny-Max is a bit small for it yet though, but it can be put away for now-think ds 2 likes it more lol
Then went to a medieval festival that was on near where we live-it was heaving and hot and loads of walking, but the kids liked it!0 -

She wanted £40, but I asked her is she would take £20 and she said £30, but I told her £20 was all I had lol I would have paid £30 though-it's in great condition-really clean and all the noise bits work!
Although can I ask if you can adjust the height of the seat bit?? or when baby is in it does their weight pull it down??0 -
Does indeed sound like a bargain!
Having more sleep problems here. Last few nights she has gone from sleeping 4/5 hours and then another 3 to only sleeping 3 hours and waking every hour or two after that. Really hoping is 12 week growth spurt. Nothing has changed so can't think of any other reason.0 -
