Thanks everyone, we offered and they are considering. It's not the end of the world if not and we're not increasing the offer whatever. still early days for us so we'll find something better if this isn't right.

have been jobsearching tonight, with no joy.

MI3, sleeping bags are great, i could lend you one to try if you like? blankets would be dangerous with my wriggler! we are now in 6-18 month grobags which have done my friends two children, we have 1 tog and even 0.5 tog which are perfect for summer. there's a thing on the gro bag website saying what to dress them in for what temp.

    Morning

Hope everyone got a better nights sleep last night.

Busy day again with calls this morning, and then a gas engineer is calling to service the boiler this afternoon.

The boys had an argument this morning and Charlotte ran around singing "I predict a riot" at the top of her voice :rotfl:

Have a good day all xx

Awww, your Charlotte sounds like a real character, Becles :)

Good luck with the house Rach.

Another lover of sleeping bags here :D Joe never sleeps where I put him down (back to sleep, feet to foot ;)), he usually ends up sideways at the bottom of the cot, sometimes at the top, usually on his front. So the sleeping bag definitely doesn't stop him moving around. I would recommend borrowing one if you can before buying any Mi3 as they aren't cheap and some babies don't like them.

My day isn't starting well - Radio 2 are faffing about with their schedule today and it's completely unsettled my morning :( I don't want to listen to Vanessa Feltz wittering on, I want Chris Evans!! I can't be doing with Chris Moyles and our local radio is rubbish so I've had to resort to Capital FM, but it has adverts and I have to listen to London traffic news.

LOL bigbird I love radio 2 too...hate it when evans is replaced by Richard madely!! I thought I was back at school when simon mayo was on the breakfast show this morning!

we've had a good day so far, bf supporter training this am though L was a bit moany, think it's his teeth...he's had a good nap this aft though and is happier and I've managed to get some work done :)

No word yet on whether the house vendors have accepted our offer but I've made some enquiries about a job that's perfect for me but is full time, she said to definitely apply and she's sure i'll be shortlisted and we can discuss details down the line. Have mixed feelings about it all but I do need some work. I am going to contact the people i'm freelancing for first though and see if there's any more work on the horizon as it would be good to know if so as it's more flexible and twice the money!

Also another fan of sleeping bags. Great in the early days especially as it was winter as it meant I could feed her while she was still in her covers.

I've bought mine from TKMaxx and Mothercare. The 2.5 tog ones are about £8 - 10 from TKMaxx. And I got the 1 tog ones when they were BOGOF at Mothercare, so 2 for £19.99 (I did pick the cheapest ones though - they go up to about £35 in Mothercare).

Sorry it's another short one, quite busy at the moment and DD is taking up my time more now.

    Hope everyone is well

Thanks for all the advice on sleeping bags, I'm still in two minds - got the cot arriving tomorrow and OH will want us to try it out straight away so need to get the bedding sorted pronto.

I really don't get the point of mucking about with the R2 schedule today. I know they have a wide variety of programming, and they run plenty of ads for these, but if something is on at a time of day when I don't normally listen to the radio I will forget to listen in anyway. I also like knowing when something I don't like is on, ie I can't stand Steve Wright - but that's fine cos Radio London has the brilliant Danny Baker on at that time.

It's annoying when they muck about with radio schedules. I listen to local radio in the car between jobs, and I feel like I'm being pushed out of my comfort zone when they change things around :o

I don't like it when the regular presenters are on holiday or sick or something and there's a different one on :o

Another busy day today. Got loads to cram in and I didn't sleep well again last night. Knackered.com :(

Very quiet here today. The cotbed and chest of drawers has arrived, so we're in for some more flat pack fun this weekend. Question, how much money do you have to spend these days to get ready made furniture????
