Moomins new boots collected so she'll be happy and school shirts purchased for DS2.
Why does nowhere have summer jackets for 6 year old girls???
Ebay stuff relisted.. must sort the next box of stuff and get that on.

I can't recall seeing any summer jackets pigpen, but I'll keep my eyes out when I'm out and about with work.
Been going through a rough time lately and been really looking at myself. I know it's a bit big headed saying it, but I'm actually canny good at being a Mam
In other news, my Mam brought my Dad's graduation gown round this morning and it feels great. It's hanging on my bedroom door and I keep going and looking at it and putting it onIt's the graduation ceremony this weekend and I'm nervous and excited at the same time.

thanks both..
we got her bum sorted. I got thrush cream from minor ailments.. we use metanium usually which is fabulous. DD3 was actually allergic to something in the sudocrem so that made her bum sore!! it is evil to get off anything though so I won't have it in the house now.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Hello :hello:
M&M that was a lot of bargains!
Hope everyone is well x
ETA Becles you sound like a good mum to me!
Pigpen DD1 got a jacket from ASDA a couple of weeks ago, and I've seen little rain mac type things in Tesco but only up to 5-6 so depends on the size of your 6 year old!
My Squeak and the kitten are friends :j they have barely left each other alone all weekend
Had all sorts of drama with my older 3 though, not helped by mum kicking off and sending me loads of texts accusing me of cruelty(!) because the decorating in DD1's room isn't finished and because OH told her off in front of her. Could have really done without it quite frankly especially since all DD1 did since she got up on Sunday was whinge which was what she was told off for!
Now they have their contact session with KH after school so I have to collect them and take them 5 miles to the centre by 4pm on a bus, with the baby, and hang about for 2 hours and wait for them to come out. Now I can't say to OH I'll bring the baby home you pick them up because KH will kick off (he watches from the window to see who's coming, as opposed to spending all the time with the kids) and he'll say to the kids not to get in the car with OH and it will be a nightmare.
Now I don't feel I can say to OH come get Squeak after work, I'll wait for the others and bring them back so the baby isn't spending 4 hours in the buggy (we just miss a bus when they come out) because my mum will probably accuse me of favouritism again, even though she knows damn well OH's car only has 4 seats, because it's a temporary car whilst our (big) car gets fixed after some gobsh!te vandalised it.
So the contact finishes at 6, we are not going to be home until 7.45. I am sorely tempted to ring the contact people and tell them where to stick it. We've all been going through this for ages now, the kids are only being destabilized, nothing good has come of it and we're all having to spend sodding hours stood in the cold waiting about!
My mum was meant to pick the other three up today, to save on all this carp, she won't now because she's ill, and I don't want all of us to get her germs.
Sorry about the rantMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

I wouldn't take them.. simple as.. if he wants to see them then that is his responsbility not yours.. Or I'd have OH collect them and have one of the social workers put them in the car and if necessary hold KH inside until the children are collected .. Actually.. no I simply wouldn't let them go.. it is much to late.. they'll be tired and hungry and need to be at school next day.. I'd ring at the last minute as well.. just to make it difficult for KH.. and I would tell them EXACTLY why they weren't goin.. KH being a KH and no transport etc.. I wouldn't mention the courtesy car just that you didn't have a car to fit everyone in at the moment so would have to cancel as you cannot stand about with Squeak all that time.
And tell your mother where to get off.. cheeky mare! I hate interfereing family! Mine are all very well trainedLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Unfortunately it is supervised contact (allegedly!) and I'd never let him pick them up and take them anywhere, he couldn't put their needs above his own at any point in when I was with him or in the 6 years of court drama since and I doubt he's going to start now.
I am considering sending OH to the car park round the corner and getting one of the workers to walk them there, that's a good idea. That way me and Squeak would get home by 6 and the kids would be home by 6.30.
He has to stay inside until 15 minutes after the kids have gone and he has to be there 15 minutes early. It's what he will say to them when he knows it is OH that concern me. He's already tried to say all sorts of things, to them and to SS. I won't say what but it led to my children being interviewed alone by SS at school.Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Exactly. supervised and he can't get them and take them.. and you have no car to fit them all in.. sounds a good reason to keep them home
KH told my lot that OH wouldn't be interested in me and was only here so he could sexually abuse them.. so I can probably imagine what yours have been told too! Fabulous aren't they.. NOT!
Give them a ring and explain to them .. could you possibly drop them off and go home then OH pick them up? That way they wouldn't know OH was getting them just the workers and the couldn't get an earaching from KH because they wouldn't tell him what was happening.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
