    Gosh, it's quiet around here...

Ouchy CL! That must've been nasty. Joe got his bottom 2 teeth about 6 weeks ago and boy was I glad I wasn't BF! They are like little razors, aren't they?

    Hope Squeak's feeling better PP.

Our house is a bit of a disaster zone at the moment. Had to buy bread at the weekend for the first time in ages as my breadmaker died, I was not impressed! Can't really afford to replace it at the moment :( And the toaster seems to be on the blink too. That could be replaced fairly cheaply, but I really want a Dualit one and promised myself we'd get one when the current one died :o (And I want a red one, which means I'll also need a new red kettle to match... :rotfl:)

And to add to that, we had a puncture on the buggy at the end of last week. DH had a major fight to get the tyre off and then couldn't get it back on, so we had to pay £8  for a local bike shop to do it for us. And now the damn thing's got another one on one of the other wheels  I'm going to get some Slime and hope that'll fix it. Kept meaning to get some and never got around to it - I even ordered it after the first puncture :(

So now I'm just hoping nothing else breaks!

That sounds like a lot to happen all at once Big Bird. Hope that your run of bad luck is over now.

Still full of cold here and feel yuk :(

I know! No biting since, but they are sooo sharp. She bit my knuckle the other day and broke the skin.

Nightmare night last night. LO was awake from 1am until 3.15am. Not upset or crying. Just wide awake and wanting to play and shouting for me when I ignored her. She was rattling the cot bars with her dummy like a prison inmate. Then she wanted up for the day at 6am. Knackered.

On a nicer note. The weather is set to be great for a while, so I persuaded DH to take Friday off and we are going out for lunch and to the park.

And I lost 2 lbs this week. Woo hoo! Only another stone until I'll be happy! (Damn those 1000 pregnancy ice-cream Mars Bars).

    hi all

CL - no bites here when bf yet!

L has two bottom teeth and i think the top ones are coming, there is so much snot and dribble at the moment it's untrue. After a couple of much much better nights he's v grouchy today and has only had 2 short naps, I'm going to head out in a bit and see if he'll drop off in the pushchair, think we are going to meet sir m and t for a cuppa too. I let L cry for a while when he woke up early from his afternoon nap but after a while he was more and more distraught so picked him up. seems unhappy so have given some calpol, hope these teeth cut soon, poor sophie the giraffe is lucky to have any legs left!

anyone else having problems getting LOs to let you change their nappy? It's almost impossible at the moment!

I'm really annoyed as I'm waiting for 3 parcels, all posted early last week. one is a sling and worth quite a lot so really hoping its not lost!

Just popped in to say hi, sorry it's been ages since I've been on (too much going on in real life :-(). Hope everyone and children are well?
Hoping I might be able to pop in a bit this week as I'm not at work.
A and I went to Kids Club at the cinema and watched Hop, which was surprisingly fun - next we're going to tackle flapjacks! Woohoo - hope everyone else is having an exciting time.
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)

Oh yes, we have impossible nappy changing too. If they weren't so expensive I'd be switching to the pull up ones :o

Just me and Squeak today so we're hanging out at home after dropping the twins off this morning lol

Weather has improved considerably here, still v breezy but warm and sunny, ideal line drying weather.

Have found out ex MIL has been saying to the kids that OH 'shouldn't be at your house' and ex has been saying OH 'isn't allowed to be near them' which has been playing havoc, no wonder Twin1 has been in such a state all the time and saying she only wants me and no one else, especially since she has always had a good relationship with OH before. Ex has also been telling them OH isn't allowed to tell them off and that I'm not meant to ask them to tidy their rooms I should do it, and Ex MIL told me in front of them that I have to give them baths not showers because they told her they wanted a bath and showers aren't any cleaner? I fail to see how sitting a child who has wet the bed in the bath and washing their hair with the water they are sat in is cleaner than a shower

Charming the lot of them, Ex MIL refuses to recognise Twin1 is upset because of her, she now loudly tells me (in front of them!) that it's because Twin1 doesn't like OH and I shouldn't be going out with him in the first place  I can see me having to get a solicitors letter sent to her politely reminding her that if she insists on undermining everything we do at home I will stop contact completely.

Sorry that turned into a bit of a rant lol. But I feel better now.

I hope everyone enjoys the nice weather and can get out and about and make all these LO's so tired they don't have the energy to wake you up at night :D

Poor you Delain! What a nightmare! Some people shouldn't be allowed contact with children as they just end up upsetting them! Makes me so mad when people try their hardest to protect their children and make them feel secure and loved, and someone upsets them and ruins their self-confidence! I'd be telling her that if she runs you or your OH down in front of the children again, or undermines your parenting, that she will never see them!

So cross for you! What a witch!
