That's awful about ex-MIL delain. I hate it when people tell children crap and use them in their "games"

Charlotte has been excellent all day apart from deciding to rename her play dough as p dough. It sounds so wrong when she says "Mam, can I play with the p dough"

That's hilarious, Becles. Finn's new word is "bum", which I think he now knows causes everyone to laugh, therefore says it even more! Oops :p.

How's everyone doing today? Very glad it's a short week!!

    Morning

Charlotte has been through the "bum" phase as well :rotfl:

Cold feels a bit better today - not as stuffy! Got loads of work to do today, but really can't be bothered to go out and do the calls :o I'll have to go as they need to be done today and tomorrow as I want to take Friday off.

Hope everyone has a good day xx

I don't think anyone in here has ever outgrown the bum phase.. they just added the other ones.. fart, burp, willy etc.... foul things children.

My throat is really sore thoday.. Missy ratbag had me up 4 times I think.. I tend to lose count afer 3. She is now flat out after boobage at 7.. :( I had to get up as the roofer was coming at half 8... and guess what... ???... He hasn't turned up.. I really need his gutter doing and I simply cannot find anyone reliable who will actually come do the work.. give me an hour I will end up in tears over this.. :(

Just sorting another ebay parcel to go.. DD1 is off posting them for me in a bit :D FLING!

Off to wallow in my cuppa.. :(

I hate roofers.. useless, lazy piles of poo!

hope your throat is better soon pigpen, dh has had a sore throat all weekend thought he was getting tonsilitis again as he had a really nasty bout over christmas!

I am selling bits and bobs on a forum, need a few more bits to go soon as i need some paypal.

and I almost dare not say it but we've had 3 nights of sleeping through til morning :) cautiously optimistic...it only took 8 months and 1 week!

That's great Rach. We had a crap night 2 nights ago and I'm really hoping she's sleeping through by the time I go back to work. She'll be 8 and a half months old by then.

I go back in 2 months. She has slept through, but not for quite a while. She goes to bed at 8pm and usually wakes at 3am for a feed and goes straight back down, but wakes at 5am and won't go over unless I take her into our bed. I'm getting a really bad broken sleep at the minute as I don't sleep well with her in the bed.

CL - poor you. it sounds a bit like L that it's habit if it's the same times every night. I was really anti controlled crying but in the end nothing else worked for us. He was usually having 2 feeds a night until a couple of weeks ago so I started to cut down the length firstly and eventually got it down to one which we then used the crying to stop. I knew he didn't really need them as he was having loads of solids and wasn't at all bothered about his first morning feed!
