when do you go back CL? she has slept through before though hasn't she? it's so wearing, he had never ever slept through until sunday night and it did take 3 nights of controlled crying :(

But how much better does the world seem now you're seeing it after a whole night's sleep? ;)

CC isn't nice, but it's worth it I think sometimes. I'm sure L has noticed he has a happier mummy now :)

i think so delain, though i'm still waking through force of habit but definitely less each night! he has however massively regressed in naps and is only managing half an hour morning and aft whereas it was up to 2 hours last few weeks, he does need the naps too so hopefully it will come back!

we're home alone today with no plans, feels like a v long day so i think we'll head out to the park soon. i've texted a few people and everyone, including grandad seems to be busy!

Thanks Rach. She hasn't been sleeping great the last few weeks, but was good before then and is eating loads of solids.

I decided to really treat myself today and booked laser teeth whitening on my credit card! But in my defence I've been thinking about it for years and couldn't justify the price and it was today's deal on Groupon. £89 instead of £400. Since I have nothing on any credit cards I thought I'd treat myself. I can't wait! So excited. My BFF is getting married in August and I want to lose some weight and get my teeth done before then, so I look like a yummy mummy and not a haggard mess!

Hope it goes well CL. I've wondered how good that was so you'll have to let us know!

I treated myself on Groupon the other day with a very cheap manicure and pedicure. I'm going to book it for a couple of days before we go on holiday in August. I've never had a manicure or a pedicure before :o

Had my hair cut today. It was a right frizzy mess as the ends were all dry and ratty. Had about 4" chopped off and it looks much tidier. It's mid back length now.

Charlotte was giggling as we had baked beans with our tea and I told her beans make you pump :rotfl:

Hope the poorly ones feel better soon and everyone gets some sleep soon xx
Here I go again on my own....

CL poor thing, it's no fun! Finn slept horribly until he was around 7 months, at which point I gave in and did CC. We have never looked back since and now he's a brilliant sleeper. It's not for everyone, as it does take nerves of steel to initiate, but I do know a lot of success stories.

Well done for treating yourself Becles, you deserve it!

My baby was soooooooo grubby today coming home from the CMs, like a little street urchin, lol. I don't mind, as I generally think the dirtier they are, the happier they've played :D. I really wish he'd get on his feet so his clothes wouldn't get so dirty, LOL.

Sorry haven't been on a in few days. Is rubbish re the ex-MIL Delain, but how lovely re squeak though.

CL re biting, t has 6 teeth and doesn't bite just catches when tired not positioned right etc, but ouch it does hurt! Also re waking CL do you think is hunger or habit - do you try settling doing anything else? Glad never did cc for night but doing it a bit for naps.

T is trying to clap but with his hands closed and def wants to crawl. Had a giggling fit tonight at tea when I was banging a cup, makes the 6:30 alarm call worth it!

I was sooo anti CC too Aless but after 8months plus we had to do something, and he was getting so overtired. I'm hoping we won't look back either.

We don't do sprouts often, mainly because after them OH can contaminate the whole house it's evil _pale_ and he loves them too so I feel kind of bad about that. I tend to offer to cook them if he's off working a night job somewhere :rotfl:
