If you are worried, you should call the doctor. You know best if there is something wrong with your LO.

Morning all. I have the last baby massage class today for Tigger, quick nap right now, so hopefully he won't be all moany like he was last time when he was tired.

Giz, I forgot to ask yesterday if you have vest extenders. I'd recommend them if you don't. They don't get dirty hardly so you don't need lots. I had a bit of wicking for a while and bought a pack of 3 to see what difference it made and it does seem to make a big difference (no extra squishing of the microfibre) PLUS they make his vests last a little bit longer before I have to get the next size up :T
Yes I do and I'd also recommend them to others.

DD is doing my head in with her sleeping. Last night she woke at 2am (I fed her), 2:30am (I attempted to burp and then changed nappy for good measure), and 4am :( I had so little sleep and feel like a zombie today and this is just like going back to when she was first born :(

I did just about make it to Rhymetime today and for a meet up with the other girls. DD nearly fell asleep - I'm hardly surprised after last night.

I much preferred it when she slept till 6am as it meant I could get up then and get things done in the morning while she went back to sleep till 9am. Now I'm finding I'm sleeping in till 9/10am to try and make up for lack of sleep in the night and I feel like half my day is gone! But I've always been more of an early bird than a night owl.

becles that is quite some story, it did make me giggle sorry, I bet it was quite scary and unpleasant at the time. I did have problems like the weight of the fluid if I lay on my back caused my blood pressure to drop so during my c-section the table had to be tilted which was strange.

God I hope the weather improves for next week. DS party is next friday and I really don't want them inside the house eeekk. I've been practising his cake and its all gone wrong so I'll have to try again tonight once he has gone to bed. I will buy a back up cake just incase, he can have the back up one on his birthday if I do manage to make one for the party. Gotta wrap up the pass the parcel tonight as well so I know its done. I think I'm more excited than him, but nervous too. DS hasn't had a party before always days out so it'll be lovely for him.

Bobs been great today, DD was performing in the school assembly so I managed to keep him up until it was time to go to school and then he slept through it until everyone clapped but he didn't cry so that was a reflief.

Giz, she's still little remember, it's really not bad at all for a bf baby! there's also a growth spurt around 4 months kellymom has info on it. it's also a time when there's so much development going on so they sometimes wake more!

CL - bless her, sometimes i think i should just have LO in with me as he sleeps almost through then but he's moving around so much it's not really safe without dh and he's not keen!

I also have vest extenders although they don't fit some of my sainsburys vests! I am thinking of skipping the 9-12 month ones and going straight to 12-18 next as he's pretty much out of the 6-9 ones at 8 months partly thanks to the nappies. we use a mixture of motherease one size, tots nippa cotton & bamboozles with motherease wraps.

Been out for a meeting this am and dh had L for the first time for longer than an hour. All survived though L only napped half hour this morning (desipte being up at 1am and then 4-6am! and being exhausted) and refused the bottle i left for 11am though he doesn't take much then anyway. He's slept an hour now though, dh did well getting him into cot for 2 naps! I bet he's ready for milk and I can hear him stirring!

It made me laugh when the lady with the mop and bucket came in as well :o:rotfl:

I would ring the doctors if you are worried. They'd much rather see you and send you away for nothing, than have you sitting worrying yourself silly at home.

Been for a check up at the hospital about my sinus operation this morning. He poked the camera up and had a good look and said it's healing nicely but there is still some crusting going on and that will continue for the next month or two, but that's perfectly normal. White text as it's TMI the crustings are huge hard lumps of snot that I blow out every 2-3 days _pale_

I've just got to keep on with the nasal washing and he wants me to stay on the steroid spray for another six months, but I should be fine without it after then. I've been discharged from the consultant now, and have to see my GP if anything should happen in the future but he doesn't think it will.

He said when the consultant who did the op got in there, my tubinates were bigger than she thought so she cut the excess away and drilled all my sinuses so they all have bigger holes in. He said next time I get cold, everything should just run out as normal, rather than them getting clogged up.
Here I go again on my own....

They always tilt it.. AFAIK it feels like you will roll off! is quite strange especially with the the numbness below the chest. I squealed every time and grabbed OH/my mother or anyone in arms reach. The fear of falling off raised my BP so it countered the blood loss and normal lower laid flat BP

I feel like I have been pg forever and ever.. I am sure it is due to these being so close but I just want it over now I am bored.

I can't walk, I hurt, I am sick of feeling rubbish..

Becles.. that is great news about your snuffler.. looks like you will all be consultant free in your house soon :D

3rd section and they have never tilted it before and didn't this time till I nearly passed out and OH said it was because I was laying on my back but it probably best practise to just tilt it all the time just incase.

how odd.. I've had 4 and it has always been tilted.. though the second the bed was REALLY low as the surgeon was tiny so had I rolled off I didn't have far to fall lol

I had an extra tall surgeon (he bumped his head on the lights at one point) so it would have been quite a fall, had to keep raising it too. Once its tilted I was fine but whilst its moving it really does feel like you'll fall.

I was tilted too. I'm interested to hear you've had 4 sections. I was under the impression that you could only have 3 max (I know if you were pregnant with a 4th it would have to come out somehow). I was very happy with my section and have no plans for a VBAC if I have others, so it's nice to know I could have 4 if i wanted (only want 2/3 at the minute).
