Noone EVER has mine.. if they aren't here they are at school. I never get a minutes peace there is always someone wanting something.. and while I really dont want them to be elsewhere just a couple of hours to catch my breath or have a shower or nip to the shops would be heavenly.

At the moment I have DS3 kicking off because.. I bought him new trousers!!!!! He has made the small pinks cry, tried breaking his own arm, leaped up and down and screamed at the top of his voice and called me a little witch.. I replied actually I am a big witch and if you don't watch it you'll be turned into a frog' lol.. He is upstairs sulking and hitting himself now.. He really is a muppet at times.. Is it really such an evil thing to do, buy him new trousers because his are 4inches up his legs and so tight he can only squeak? He barely eats anything because he hates everything and when you ask him that he likes he takes 3 days to reply and by the time it is cooked he hates that too.. I could quite happily kill him. He is so like his miserable ingrate of a father nothing is ever good enough.. stupid boy!

Can your OH have all, even just for an hour or so just so you can have a bath/go for a walk/read a book etc.

I know how you feel. When I was on my own with the boys, ex would go on and on about how he was here, there and everywhere each weekend and I'd be stuck at home on my own once they went to bed. When he did take them out, he'd take them to Mc Donalds and have them from say 12pm-1.30pm, so it wasn't really long enough to go out and do anything, although the peace was nice.

I've been poorly through the night - nothing serious, just the trots and feeling sick. Think it's just a 24 hour tummy bug thing.

Anyway, I got up and put some washing in, sorted some paperwork out, put some washing on the line and put another load in.

Went to the supermarket and did an audit for work, and on the way home my tummy was really burning and I thought how nice it would be if I could just lay on the sofa and read a book or watch crap TV.

Came back and put the second load of washing on the line and put another load in, Josh had arranged for a man to come and sort out the paperwork for a football team he's going to play for so he came round, then I cleaned the bathroom and made lunch.

The sofa thing is just a dream I think.

He gets most stressed so I try not to leave them all with him. He can barely cope with the one that is his!

But.. I'd miss my babies .. lol..

I just want the children to have a relationship with KH and not feel like they are what he does when he can't find anything better to do.

    Same here.

One of life's hardest lessons is not always being able to have what you want.

I can control everything in here for them - keep it warm, secure, make sure they're well fed, well dressed, educated and so on. The relationship with their Dad is the one thing that I can't control, but it's taken a long time for the children to realise that, and understand that it's wrong to take it out me because of his failings.

They'll get their in the end and they'll always love you for everything you've done for them. You just have to stay strong and hang on for that moment.

    Hello :hello:

Well, life goes on here. Twins are in trouble for trying to use the toilet at the same time  so OH has asked them to sit away from each other downstairs. Why they thought that would be anything like a good idea I don't know.

Still trying to clean the kitchen, the monsters are off out for a bit later, so hopefully then I can clean my bedroom, which is in a shocking mess, no chance at the mo as Squeak is asleep in her cot.

Lovely sunshine again, toying with the idea of changing the kids beds today. I'm very pleased that twin1 seems to have stopped wetting the bed (fingers crossed it stays this way!)

Hope all the new mummies and tiny babies are all doing well, Hoping we're not hearing from you because you're grabbing all the sleep you can!

Hope everyone is feeling OK today, and enjoying the weather :)

Though DS3 is having his hair minced later and deflea'd (I saw a bug on him yesterday) so that should set him off and I need to shower and deflea Moomin and Quaverface... I hate bugs!!!! Hi Pigpen. I feel your pain. My LO had slept through every night for a month and then last night was winging at 1, 3, 5, & 7. I think it's teething. I read that Bonjella can numb the babies tongue and affect BF. Is this rubbish? She went back to sleep when I gave her 2.5ml of Calpol on two occasions.

bonjela never had any affect on mine so I never used it. we use anbesol liquid which stays where it is put and seems to work. I calpol'd grotbag and it did seem to sort her temp but God is she miserable!

suckling is instinctive so I doubt it would have any effect on that either..
