My Squeak is sooo much better this morning.. ready brek and grated apple do the trick.. :D She even smiles today :D Bottom 2 teeth are almost through so she is scrabbling in her mouth a fair bit.

others all away to school and college and the house is peaceful.

Just having a cuppa then cracking the whip and OH is helping tidy the front room and kitchen.. I don't mind vacuuming but picking stuff off the floor is making me dizzy and sick.

    Hi everyone :hello:

I've read back a bit and noticed that my reply to madnessandmayhem seems blunt and a bit rude, I'm sorry, it wasn't meant that way I had had a bad day, which I realise is no excuse :o But it's nice to see you here, please don't let my rudeness put you off staying :D

Don't be silly!! I didn't take it as rude at all-and oh my god, do I know what you mean about having bad days-I have my fair share of them as well :rotfl: and no, you dont get rid of me that easily lol

I will be ringing the dr's as soon as dh has let me know which day off he has got this week so he can come as well for moral support (and to help hold ds1 should his ears need looking into, otherwise he creates merry hell, and he's too long and lanky for me to hold him still lol)

It upset me last night seeing him asleep-he sleeps on the top bunk and the wardrobe is next to it, so i don't normally 'see' him unless i go right up to the side of the bed (although I can hear him snoring lol) but for some reason he dicided to sleep the other way round-with his mouth wide open and every now and again he would stop snoring and it looked almost as though he was gasping, until his breating kicked in again and he stirs. Poor thing-no wonder he's tired and grumpy if his sleep is disturbed that often throughout the night :( He doesn't seem to have a long enough period of being in 'deep' sleep to get a decent night.
My mum has sleep apnoea, and has described it as when you 'stop' breathing, your body 'wakes' you slightly to kick start you into breathing again, and it's the deep sleep we need.

I think what Becles said about him being in such a deep sleep he doesn't realise he's wetting is right-he's prob so tired that when he does get into the deep sleep, he stays firmly there lol Although then I dont go to sleep for ages when i go to bed as i'm listening to him snoring!

Anyway I REALLY ought to do some housework-parts of my house look as though i've been burlgled :rotfl:

It's not unusual for most of my house to look like that!

My bedroom is terrible, you can hardly see the floor :o

I have got the kitchen almoost finished though :T

It's not unusual here either, but having read the thread about the lady that had the police round because of a complaint about child neglect, I thought I really ought to tidy up in case anyone knocks on my door-although, like most people i would rather my house be a mess and my children not be, than the other way round lol

i did make sure they had clean faces before we left the house though........Just in case;) lol

I've been reading that one too! lol. Apparently a well justified dislike of social workers is unhelpful.

I do feel for that lady, it isn't nice, and even tidying up won't help her now since the police have taken pictures of everything how it is.

  • it's lovely the sun is out now, it almost feels like spring... ssh don't tell anyone I said that.;)
Tigger is napping now and I should really get on with the car insurance quotes I'm meant to be doing but really hate hate hate the idea of it.

Delain, Madnessandmayhem - My house too. It always looks like bomb's hit it. We have open plan downstairs which makes the
[STRIKE]mess[/STRIKE] assorted clutter look worse as I can't close certain doors to hide anything :D

I always think that when I watch those shows like property ladder and they knock down all the walls in the houses (not that I have the money to buy one! lol) and I always think 'Why would you want to be able to see the washing up from the sofa? And where would all our[STRIKE] assorted crap [/STRIKE]treasured possesions go?'

I daren't say that to OH though, He'll tell me they are houses for tidy people. lol.

:p:p:p someone forgot to tell me that before we did the big house project and opened it all up with foldy slidy doors. It does look lovely when the sun is out in the summer and we've bothered to tidy up.
