Up and having breakfast before I go to the hospital. Bit nervous about it, but should be ok when I get there. Don't suppose they will tell me anything today, and I'm seeing the consultant again next week to discuss it.
Got masses of work to do afterwards then got all my World Book Night books to give out at school this afternoon. Looking forward to giving them out to the other parents and hope people enjoy reading them.
Hope everyone has a good day xxBaby Giz born 6/2/110 -
Mine grabs the spoon and throws it on the floor, or pokes it in her eye or waves it manically. She hates daddy, he isn't even allowed to look at her at the moment and he always fed her but she won't eat for him now either.
She can roll too.. but hates being on her front so screams.
Mines been Squeak since I was 7 weeks pregnant lol
Mine does that too - we roll her back, then she rolls over again about 2 seconds later
She is being a madam at the minute, if I leave the room she screams for me and doesn't want anyone else to hold her. She is very cute though and it is hard to resist her slobbering on me.
Good luck Becles.0 -

Why do they roll over if they hate it? Such a stupid thing to do!!!

FEED IT!!! must buy its she can feed herself with.. wonder how much she will love gingerbread men! It may make up for the 3 smelly nappies i've changed in the last 2 hours!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I would love mine to walk at 9 months...she is way too heavy to be carrying about so she could just trot alone behind me

When I was a teenager we moved into a 2 up 2 down terrace house... My brother got the bedroom and I got a bed settee in the front room... When my Dad's motorbike got nicked from outside, he bought the replacement one into the front room at night for a few months until he had a hook secured in the wall... Not entirely sure the petrol fumes were good for me lol...
Hope the house is good, and the landlord willing... Maybe don't make the children share rooms with a motorbike though...
Hello :hello: How are you enjoying having a tiny one again?
It doesn't help that I just carried on posting on it for ages... I'm trying to stop
Motorbikes with my lot?

I might be weird but I just LOVE the smell of petroland creosote.
When I was PG with Squeak the smell of cooking food turned my stomach, I ate weetabix for tea almost every day for 9 months but I was always happy when we went to Sainsburys to put fuel in. I was almost glad to own the worls most un-MSE car :rotfl:
Haven't heard back about the house yet.
ETA Good luck Becles, I hope your results are ok and your dog cheers up when Charlotte comes homeMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Hi :hello:
I'm not sure if I should post this on here, but i have followed this thread and you all seem so knowledgeable.
I have a 10 month old who seems to have been struck down with a tummy bug, but it has now been going on since last Tuesday, we went to the doc's who said stay off milk altogether for 24 hrs. Just give sips of water and carry on nothing to worry about.
I did this and it has made no difference, he is still being sick but he must be getting something as we have wet nappies etc.
He will eat bits of porridge now and have half strength milk even tried lactose free milk but just nods off as so tired and then is sick when he wakes up again.
Is there anything else I can be doing or giving him to help get rid of this, or is it a case of just riding it out.
Thanks all.

All posts here are welcomed, Hope you will stay and become a regular poster
I would try taking him back to the doctors, maybe see a different doctor, six days is a long time for a ten month old to go without eating or drinking really.
DD1 had such a bug when she was about that age and I was told not to cut the milk out as she was too young and milk was still the main bulk of her diet. We has some really icky sour sick though _pale_
Does he seem OK in himself, or is he very very lethargic?
The doctor might recommend diuretics to rehydrate him.
I'll be in trouble now cos we're not meant to give medical advice but hopefully this doesn't count :rotfl:Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Hi delain,
Thank you so much I think you have confirmed what I thought really, back to the doctors.
I have actually started to give him his milk again and he does drink it it's just an hour or so later he sicks it back, but not all of it I don't think.
He is ok one minuete and then all clingy and tired the next, he is deffo not himself.
Thanks for your help.

She is an absolute delight, so placid and happy, feeds like a dream... Complete opposite to C's first few weeks... More like A as a baby... I am missing sleep though... Going to try going to bed a bit earlier this week... It was alright while Hubby was off work because he was getting up and sorting the big ones out and I got an extra hour... But he's gone back now so it's all me again
I put diesel in the car for the first time yesterday... Was so nervous... How sad is that?! lol... A friend of mine had the same love of petrol smell when she was pregnant... I can remember getting a lift with her somewhere and she kept sniffing her hand after she'd refueled lol!
Hope you hear back from the house soon
Sprinkly, if it's been going on nearly a week then I'd try and get back to the Dr if I were you... It's good that you're still getting wet nappies, at least he's not getting dehydrated... But it is always best to get them checked out when you're worried xxA very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
