We found the baby is fine in the car and happily sleeps/plays for about 2 hours before demanding food and nappy change.. though she pooped 20 minutes from home last time so we had to stop and change her and she screamed the last 20 minutes! She is better than the bigger ones on long journeys they are always sick and need a wee or clean clothes or a new car seat or just whine..

I'm lucky that none of mine get travelsick.

Two of my closest friends (and I didn't have many to choose from!) were very prone to travel sickness. Our school went on a lot of trips and I seemed to have someone throw up on me every time we went anywhere _pale_ I bet the teachers used to contemplate phoning in sick when my class had trips, vomit on every. single. one

Well Squeak seemed to enjoy the group. I had to wake her up because she went to sleep on the bus on the way there and she was still quite happy, she was completely in awe of maracas, did persuade her to have alittle shake, and she tried eating the claves :o

I found out at the end that the trial session is free so I took the money I had put aside for it and bought her a buggy book, one of the ones that straps to the buggy since she lobbed her other book into a huge puddle just before half term. I'm a bit reluctant to give it back to her just in case it has nasties on and being cardboard it can't go in the washing machine.

Thing is Merfe he has been fine for ages going properly etc but he seems to have got scared of something upstairs (possibly smoke alarm) and now is a real pain to get upstairs esp when he needs a wee - so far hasnt done a poo in his pants! Bang goes me trying nappy free nights.... any tips for that BTW?

She has gone months of being fine then reverts to wetting herself, then is fine again for a few months. I find she gets better at it if I ignore her wetting herself. She is really scared of the flush on the toilet and this is getting better. No tips for the night time I'm afraid tbh I wish I'd left it longer before I tried to get her dry at night but DS was dry at night and it seemed strange still putting the older one in a nappy.

DS used to get travel sick, I think he may have grown out of it already, fingers crossed. Sometimes he still feels poorly but isn't actually sick so much anymore. Thankfully he was only ever sick once we stopped so either at the services or once we got there but he felt sick in the car. We used to have a built in dvd player in the car - worst thing ever if you have travel sick kids.

We have missed baby group today, bob has just slept and feed and thats it, if he is awake he just wants a cuddle and to chill as well, not interested in any toys today so Ithink he must still be poorly.

Delain.. we took them to seaside on the bus a few years ago.. I travel sick pilled all of them.. double dosed a couple of them on docs advice... by the time we got there me, KH and 5 children and 1 eeyore were covered in sick, there was sick running down the aisle of the bus and the only loo near the bus station was in a cafe.. cue KH dashing past lots of people eating their lunch with beach buckets full of spew.. I have never taken them all out together since!!! KH however took them all last year and the same thing happened.. and we did a trip by train once too and ended up pretty much the same, poor DD2 was so ill all day it was awful for her.

Ewwww _pale_ I don't blame you, I wouldn't have either.

Like I say, I'm very lucky like that!

My mum sometimes takes DD1 to London when she goes to see my brother and there have been no incidents (apart from strops).

Gak it's school run time in a minute. I think the school move is more or less inevitable, it's driving me nuts all this travelling.

It's not so bad in the Summer when it's warm but when there's a biting wind and the pavement's been all dug up all around the bus stop it gets a bit much with a buggy.

Plus it's not easy taking my 3 on a bus plus a baby  espcially when they are all hyper after school and I get home ready to drop. My friend said she'd rather work a 12 hour shift at work than do that one half hour of my day lol.

Is he doing it on purpose. Charlotte went through a wetting phase before Christmas but I noticed it was deliberately attention seeking when I said "hang on a minute" as I was busy and couldn't give her immediate attention. Like she'd ask me to do something while I was cooking and I'd say something like "in a minute, as I need to stir this sauce till it boils" so she'd stand and wet herself! Just had to keep telling her how naughty was to do that and I was disappointed with her behaviour. As it was near Christmas, the threat of naughty girls not getting any presents worked well ;)

I think he is doing it on purpose. The first day was like 6 times and then over the weekend was only 3 each day but OH said yesterday when I was out he did it deliverately. Wouldnt be so bad but he is fine at nursery - no problems!! I am torn between ignoring it and just changing him or telling how naughty he is being - told him yesterday if he did it he wouldnt have his CD player at bedtime but he still did it.

We have changed him from 'nappies' to the night time pull ups in an attempt to move him on but not sure if he is a bit early for it anyway.

Annoyed with OH. He finishes at 12 so knew he would get to nursery earlier than me for William. So I phone him at 1.30 to see how he is and he tells me he's only just back from work and needs to go to Tescos for some mince before the nursery - I'm like I'll look a right wally now as I told them you'd be there by 12.15ish.... and he hasnt even called them!! blooming men

Hmm - I've used Shout and Vanish - could switch back to a bio powder, but I'm thinking its her particular poo that is a problem. Anyone else had bright orange ones?

James gets travel sick. I bought a 1L plastic measuring jug which I line with a nappy sack. The jug is a nice size with a good handle to hold if he needs to be sick, then the bag can be removed and thrown away and a new bag put in.

Don't think that would work for pigpen though. That sounds a complete nightmare - poor bairns xx

Lovely to see SS and Susan popping in today. Hope you are both well xx

More Facebook problems here. After their fighting yesterday, James told people in school Josh was picking on him, so older bairns have taken James side and are picking on Josh.

Josh came in and did his "woe is me" act on Facebook and then various bairns popped up slagging me off as Josh has told them I don't care for him and I'm a crap mother  So I've deactivated his FB and banned him from the internet for a week.

    and breathe!
Here I go again on my own....
