Afternoon x
Giz everyone is right just enjoy any chance of sleep.
Bob pooed at 11:30pm last night and he didn't even wake up to do it but I had to wake him up to change him. I'm glad he poos so loudly now that it woke me up. He looked like he was going to stir for ages to get back to sleep as well so I gave him a small feed, he still woke at 6am because I think he had had enough sleep by then.
Bob is too short for his jumperoo.
Filled out the forms for Bobs passport today so that is all sorted just need to take it into work now and get my manager to sign his photos. Can't believe how fast my time off is going. I'm not looking forward to having to go back to work.
We've had midnight poo as well. Semms a funny time to go but that's babies for you
Has anyone got a Kindle? I'm seriously thinking about one and could use some advice. Been reading the seperate thread on it but it's got a little long lol.Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Hello!
Just popping over from the pg thread to ask if anyone has used washable b00b pads, and if so do you have any advice / brand recommendations?
Hoping to get some but there seem to be a lot out there and couldn't find any independent reviews!
Thanks!
Em
hiya, i tried boots ones, and didnt really like them didnt seem to be very absorbent. my fave was the big 80 pack ones from boots as they felt the nicest and were really absorbent. I couldnt live without them as was always very leaky.:j0 -
just stopped waking H up for 10pm feed and seems to be going well. so hes now sleeping from 7pm till about 6am.
hes loving his purees also and seems to be getting on really well with food which makes me feel better about leaving it till he was 6 months.:j0 -
Tried on a bunch of jeans today. I don't even fit in my 12 week pregger jeans yet. My pre-preg jeans don't go past my thighs. So still in maternity jeans and comfy joggers:j0 -

We got my mother one for christmas... if you get one do get the protective case for it as the screens are just like phone screen so will scratch quickly and easily. She loves it it is currently in London with her.Bob is too short for his jumperoo.
Aaawww that's cute.. Freja got hers at christmas and is already on the second height at almost 7 months.. but she is a huge long thing (99th centile)LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Don't go setting alarms Giz, they will wake you when they need feeding. We had one freaky night last week when LO slept from 9pm to 6 am - which is crazy for a 4 week old. No idea why she went so long and don't expect it to happen again any time soon.We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0

Ooops. I fed DD at 9pm last night. I then woke up at 4:20am at the sound of her smacking her lips for food. This seems insanely long to me. Normally she would have woken at about 2am.
Make the most of it! She'll you know when she is hungry.
Charlotte was only about 8 weeks old when she started going from about 11pm to 6am each night
OH bought some bathroom scales the other day and it turns out since I was last weighed in 2009 I've lost a stone and a half :j no idea where it's gone from though lol
Yay - well done :j
My car is in the garage today, so I dropped it off and we got the bus home. Charlotte thought it was really exciting and grinned like an idiot all the way home :rotfl:
It's failed it's MOT and needs a new intercooler pipe. It's going to cost another £79 and they can't get part until tomorrow, so I've had to reschedule tomorrows work to Friday instead. Here I go again on my own....0 -
Giz, don't set that alarm! Get all the sleep you can! I take it there wasn't any reason why you might not have heard her like being on medication or having a few drinks? Then you probably would hear her.
I didn't have much leaking and only used breast pads in the first few weeks. At night I don't like wearing a bra so just stuck the breast pads in a vest which I found more comfortable.
I'm at work so nothing exciting happening here. Can't wait to get home and see what LO has been up to today. If she woke you just smacking her lips wanting a feed do you really think you slept through her crying??????
I however.. sleep through the crying and OH wakes me .. eventually, when he can.. lol
I don't have a Kindle myself, delain, but looked into them a fair bit. What sort of advice do you want? I think they are great, but the cost of the books is what puts me off and given I buy my books for £1 or less at carboots I can't really justify the cost.
Got my child benefit letter today confirming that I've got it. Next up is to apply for working tax credits which I think we'll be entitled to some.
Got a horrible month of bills coming up - car insurance, road tax, mot & service and house insurance
Well done Delain for losing 1.5 stone :TBaby Giz born 6/2/110 -
I'm also in the never wake a sleeping baby camp - enjoy the sleep
Miss M has a tummy bug on top of her MMR jab, poor beastie. She's whingey as hell and driving me slowly mad between her insistence on food but then turning it down as soon as it's made and her harassment of the new cat, Belle. (Belle the Cat, hehe.) And the nuclear poops are killing me too, three emergency hosedowns in two days
Breast pad wise, I tried just about all of them and the massive pound shop ones were the best for me. They all leaked, though, once on a back to work sort of meeting with my Big Boss, the Biggest Boss and the project manager plus two colleagues.
Hope everyone's well and all your babies are lovely.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
