Breast pads, I wouldn't get reusable ones in advance as you may not even need them. I bought a pack of disposables to start of with and I don't think I even used a dozen.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Ooops. I fed DD at 9pm last night. I then woke up at 4:20am at the sound of her smacking her lips for food. This seems insanely long to me. Normally she would have woken at about 2am. I'm worried I might have slept through her crying or something.
If I'm 'lucky' enough for her to do this again, should I be setting my alarm to wake her earlier?
I've been thinking about getting washable breast pads. I've used a box and a half so far. And probably not changing them often enough.
I hope the leaking stops because I don't like wearing the pads, they squish my nipples flat to the side. Or maybe my bra is too tight? No can't be cos I have a comfy sports bra for night and that's deffo not too tight and my nipples still get flattened. Anyone got tips for squished nipples?
Tried on a bunch of jeans today. I don't even fit in my 12 week pregger jeans yet. My pre-preg jeans don't go past my thighs. So still in maternity jeans and comfy joggers
What's everyone up to today?Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -
Giz, don't set that alarm! Get all the sleep you can! I take it there wasn't any reason why you might not have heard her like being on medication or having a few drinks? Then you probably would hear her.
I didn't have much leaking and only used breast pads in the first few weeks. At night I don't like wearing a bra so just stuck the breast pads in a vest which I found more comfortable.
I'm at work so nothing exciting happening here. Can't wait to get home and see what LO has been up to today.Mum to DD born Oct 2009

If she woke you just smacking her lips wanting a feed do you really think you slept through her crying??????
I however.. sleep through the crying and OH wakes me .. eventually, when he can.. lolLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I agree, you won't have slept through her crying if you heard that
and - you shouldn't need telling - get all the sleep that's on offer!
OH bought some bathroom scales the other day and it turns out since I was last weighed in 2009 I've lost a stone and a half :j no idea where it's gone from though lol
Giz it's normal to be in them for a few months. If it's getting to you why not get a couple of cheap new pairs or head to ebay where you can get next trousers from £5
Cant help with the nipple thing I like to wear a bra all the time, can't stand to be unsupported.Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Afternoon x
Giz everyone is right just enjoy any chance of sleep.
Bob pooed at 11:30pm last night and he didn't even wake up to do it but I had to wake him up to change him. I'm glad he poos so loudly now that it woke me up. He looked like he was going to stir for ages to get back to sleep as well so I gave him a small feed, he still woke at 6am because I think he had had enough sleep by then.
Bob is too short for his jumperoo.
Filled out the forms for Bobs passport today so that is all sorted just need to take it into work now and get my manager to sign his photos. Can't believe how fast my time off is going. I'm not looking forward to having to go back to work.0
