Pit the poll's closed; I really want to register a "terrible" vote. My sag's now been going on for four months and each time (after hours of effort on my part) I do get through to anyone who actuualy APPEARS to want to sort it out they make it worse - and that now includes the web relations team.

If EVER a company deserves a MASSIVE STEAR CLEAR it's Vodafone.

    Hi mobilejunkie,

The last thing we'd want to do is to make things worse and I'm concerned to hear that things haven't been resolved after this amount of time.

As you've mentioned that we've had some involvement with this could you either let me know your email reference number from any automated replies you've received or email us directly at webrelations@vodafone.com, marked for my attention, so we can take another look at this and ensure that it gets resolved for you?

    Thanks,

    Lee

NO. Just how many "looks" does it take to change a light bulb? When my 8 weeks of silence from my WRITTEN FORMAL COMPLAINT is up (and which continues to be completely ignored) I will go to the regulator. I have little faith in regulators but NO "organisation" can possibly be worse than yours. My initial impression of your team was that FINALLY the problems would be sorted out - it didn't take long at all to prove that hope to be completely without foundation. You are ruled by your "systems", don't know yourselves how they work AND are utterly USELESS at doing the most simple thing. My account with you is now SO messed up I only have complete contempt for Vodafone and would warn people to avoid using you in the strongest possible terms.

    Hi mobilejunkie,

In instances where customers remain dissatisfied it's usually worth us re-visiting their cases to make sure that every possible course of action, which is considered both reasonable and realistic, has been exhausted.

Just for clarification, are you saying that as well as emailing us you've also sent a letter detailing your concerns? If so, and it was sent recently, I'm sure we'll reply in due course addressing matters for you.

I'm genuinely disappointed to hear that our intervention hasn't brought about the outcome you were looking for but if you do change your mind and would like me to review this further just let me know.

    Hi willhelpifican,

This is certainly not the experience we expect our customers to have when they're trying to make a purchase from us so please accept my apologies for the dissatisfaction you've expressed here.

As you've quoted your order reference I'll be happy to get this followed up and so we can provide you with an update could you email the other details of your account to webrelations@vodafone.com marked for my attention?

    Kind regards to you both.

After God knows how many phone calls, emails, "chats" etc I sent a formal letter of complaint weeks ago. Response - zilch. The outcome I was looking for was not achieved (via your team) and now it's a worse mess than ever - as is always the case when I do get any kind of intervention. Whilst you might be happy to "revisit", I have wasted far too much of MY time already and have no intention of throwing more down the same road. Your organisation has made me break two of my golden rules - and I needn't have bothered. Enough is enough. Like so many others, I will vote with my feet.

What an horrific advert for Vodafone this thread is! Every major mobile company has complaints against them however none have a 50 page thread:eek:Hopefully VF will start to take real action rather than just use their web team on forums such as this.

I doubt it; this has been going on for a LONG time - AND it's far from the only thread! Horrific is a VERY accurate description; that's just what trying to deal with their "customer services" (I DO hate calling it that!) is ALL about!
  • I ordered my iPad2 in store on 29 March. I still don't have it. I was told 2 weeks. Then I was told 4 weeks. Just under the 4 week mark I went to the Solihull store to check on progress. They weren't able to give me an update - and suggested I ring customer services (a misnomer if ever there was one). I rang customer services and the operator had no idea what I was talking about and kept asking about a store at the Fort in Birmingham. I gave up. On the 4 week deadline I rang again - got through to someone who at least knew who I was - but who said call back in a week. Fair enough - must be high demand. (Except you got yours really quickly) No email from Vodafone though to say the 4 week deadline had passed - sorry and all that.

So I rang again after 5 weeks had passed. Only to be told I had to go into store because she didn't have the information on her screen. Firstly I'd been in store already. Secondly why don't they have the information on the screen? I pointed this out - I was dealt with abruptly. I asked to speak to a supervisor - who wasn't available but was told I would be called within 48 hours - that's lunchtime tomorrow. In the evening I submitted a form via the website telling them this story (but I had to keep it short because there's a limit on characters) and was told it would take 24 hours to get a response - that deadline passed 2 hours ago.

So now I'm going to start posting and twittering this around a bit. In the hope that someone out there in Vodafone actually cares about their customers who've remained with them for 17 YEARS and has TWO PAY MONTHLY CONTRACTS WITH THEM and wants to sign up for 24 months of iPad 2.

Guess how long it takes to cancel a direct debit?

Two clicks if you are logged into your online banking.

However, this will not help with receiving what you want and it will take just a little longer to have your credit history trashed by the default record(s).

Some more time and you'll see debt collectors knocking on your door.
