glenngill35 wrote: »:(Following on from my earlier post, I was checking out iphone4 deals that used Vodafone (airtime). Carphone Warehouse offer the same deals/tariffs on the Vodafone network as Vodafone direct, but CPW currently offer a cash back component. The cash back component offered by CPW (that Vodadfone as direct seller will not match, why?) could be used to reduce the upfront payment on the iphoe. I want Vodafone want to put me into an iphone4 but as I have already stated Vodafone ‘do not want to do business’ with me an existing customer. Vodafone have contacted me via email asking for my account details to look into my earlier post. Could it be argued that they (Vodafone) should know or have this information and by asking for it are causing further frustration to me and IMHO many others. Is it better to go through a third party such as CPW and achieve an improved deal or stay with Vodafone! Answers on a postcard please (lol) to Vodafone. In order that the postcards can be easily identified (and discarded by ourselves @ Vodafone) please mark in bold type face existing Vodafone customer please ignore or treat with contempt "allegedly"SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0

Got my recent bill and it has 3 texts for £1.25 each on it Circle Marketing Ltd - never ever heard of them and I dont use any premium services ever purely texter and the odd call.
Informs VF - they tell me to sort it - ok then canx my account (year contact up on 16 April 11) - ask account to be cancelled immediately to stop these fraudulent texts - VF says it cant be done - i tells them i will canx direct debit and see them in court - VF says you can do it but must pay £6.08 - that I did - VF send email saying this cant be done as i am scheduled canx on 23 Apr 11 - I cancel direct debit and hope to see VF in court - oh how I hope to see them in court.
What gets me is the "you or somebody that you let use the phone may have subscribed to Circle Marketing Ltd". Well i say VF you or somebody else are fraudulently taking/stealing money from customers! You cant take the trousers off an elephant!0 -
You will not see them in court.
What you'll see is a default record in your credit file(s).0 -
Ah so I'm not alone... When I phoned 191 to find out why I had a bill for nearly £150 I was told the following:
1. In January you paid for our free 0800/0844/0871 minutes service
2. Our computer malfunctioned and have charged you for these calls (Circa £80 in my case). I was told with a straight face "It's not the fault of Vodafone, it's the fault of the computer"
3. You need to pay the full amount now to be reconnected. We will refund you in May.
interest-free.So let's get this straight: you are saying "We are going to take £80 that you don't owe us off you for six weeks , following which it will be reimbursed. I was repeatedly told that "there's nothing we can do". Vodafone, please BAN THAT TERM from the vocabulary of your call centre workers! Stop taking the p&^%.0 -
I had a contract with Vodafone in 2008 and I cancelled it and they kept on sending me letters that they where going to blacken my name and so we got in touch with someone who delt with my case and he got in touch with Vodafone and they said they will squash my dept with them and a few weeks ago I applied for credit report and underlined in the report with the dept I owed to Vodafone.............. so I am going to seek some advise again and slander there name in the local news paper for black listed my name...............0

Hi All
I’d like to jump on the thread and offer help where possible if I may for your individual queries.
CDEL12 – I’m very disappointed to see the level of service that you have appeared to receive from our contact centres. If there is anything that we can do to help, please e-mail us via our Contact Us page, using WRT135 as the subject, detailing your query, and we’ll certainly look to help in any way we can.
mumps – I do hope that both your SIM activation and your billing query have been resolved. Should you still require assistance with these, please e-mail us via the Contact Us page, using WRT135 as the subject, and a link your posts, and we’ll be more than happy to take a look at these for you.
glenngill35 – It was great to finally speak with you, thanks very much for your time. At present, there is nothing further that we can do to adjust the costs or plan, however, should this change in the near future, we’ll be sure to be in contact.
TwistedPsycho – I’d like to take a look at your account in relation to the cost of the internet on your plan, just to make sure that this is being charged correctly. If you can e-mail us as mentioned above, we’ll have a look this for you.
greytroot – I understand that when receiving bills with items listed that you were not expecting, it can be frustrating trying to source where this entry came from. If you would like us to investigate a little further in to this for you as to how these texts came about, please e-mail us as advised above, and we can check this out for you.
skylarking953 – Our service to include non-geographic numbers in your price plan only includes 0800/0845/0870 numbers, 0844 and 0871 numbers are still charged outside of your allowance. We’d need to access your account to check the history of your charges, and your refund situation. Please e-mail us as detailed above and we’ll be more than happy to review this for you.
Mikey225 – I’m sorry to see that issues relating to a previous Vodafone agreement appear to be affecting your credit record. Please could you e-mail us as advised above, with as much detail as you can relating to mobile/account number, debt owed, how you were informed, etc, and we’ll ask our team to review the history of the account.
Kind Regards
Simon

Well I too have had to e-mail the CEO as three web messages, an e-mail and a fax have not got my contract upgraded, contract returned within working 7 days or contracts cancelled! Bit of a joke really considering I am what they class as a business customer who has been with them about 6 years, considering they has screwed up before a couple of years ago which resulted in me having to contact the CEO and them cancelling the wrong contract last year!0

Nah, they'll just keep sponsoring McLaren F1 and other various events instead of spending money on staff training, network maintenance and improvements and the likes. Oh and since VF AU was mentioned, for that poster I'd like to point out that VF have been the main sponsor of the 888 team in V8 Supercars for quite a few years.
I'm just about free from their clutches (requesting PAC tomorrow)Now free from the incompetence of vodafail0
