Speechless
You couldn't make it up
I think I should actually show examples of all correspondance because they are so darn silly. Does no one actually understand plse send email to xxxxyyzzz quoting imei number xxxxx model number xxxxx exchange for faulty handset imei number xxxxx handset xxxxx and then finally imei number xxxxx handset (which is what I am claiming for)
The worst part about is when you speak to customer services they understand exactly what you need but the "webform" team cannot understand a very simple request.0 -

Hi John 3:16,
I have just sent you another email in response to the one you sent yesterday.
As the Web Acquisition team tried to make contact but were unsuccessful, they have logged you for another callback to discuss things further with you.
Hi Sealady,
I received your email in on the 10th May (Tuesday) and sent a reply the same day requesting your account details and the email address you needed me to contact on your behalf. Did you receive my email?
As soon as I have this info, I can get this sorted out for you.
Best wishes,
Heidi

Christ, what a thread!!
FWIW, I'm a happy Vodafone customer. Got an issue dealt with by Lee in web relations yesterday and he did a bang-up job. :TI spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0 -
i have been a customer with vodafone for a year.
i have had nothing but problems. not only with the the products, but the service and the complaints procedure. Aparantly no one in vodafone seems to want to help an existing customer.
problems i have had are: -
£688 taken from my account (this was due to the fact that i had two lines and i xfered one to my gfs name and thought it terminated the contract)
losing my phone and then being sent a substandard phone from your insurance company, (i had an iphone white 3gs 32gb, but the insurance company would only give me a black 8gb 3gs)
barring my phone even thought £688 was taken as a DD from my account (have no idea why this was done)
not recieving 3G signal on my phone ( i work in manchester, london and bham and hardly get 3g signal)
customer services are pathetic.. no one seems to listen and its like they are reading a script.
webteam are no better either, as i have emailed them a number of times.. and all i get is "pls contact 191 who can advise you on this"
i have a 24 month contract.. and would like to cancel it as i am paying for a service i am not recieving.. also now i have a substandard phone too.. not happy at all!
any advice on what can be done???0 -
