    £280+£10 PAYG at phones4u

HTC Desire - too good to be true?

The title of the thread sounds like you warn against buying Desire.
  • I was going to say the Desire HD is the best phone I've ever owned! The title is definitely misleading, haha.
Have I helped? Feel free to click the 'Thanks' button. I like to feel useful (and smug). ;)
  • yes just re -read it - can i edit the title?

Yes, you can. Use 'Advanced' option in 'Edit'
  • HTC Desire HD on orange:-

£120 up front (didn't like that...)
    £10.21 / month, 24 months
    £5 insurance

400 mins, 500 mb data, unlimited texts.

worked out the total cost, including insurance, £485

ps i am a 'low value customer', bills averaging 20-25 per month.

As much as i wanted the iphone (and to all the naysayers, it is a good phone, lovely interface, just the right size) it isn't worth >£700 more than a htc desire hd. just hope the size and battery aren't a problem for me.
  • I'm looking for a HCT Desire HD. The reviews seem really good.

Anyone know of the cheapest handset only or PAYG offers?
  • why are orange charging me £6 insurance grrr.

And I am not good at bartering!
Should not make a difference. Being good at haggling however would be of more use ;)

    hi,
Got a sim contract with o2, can anyone recomend where i can buy one at the best price please - little uneasy with ebay.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Andy.

Apart from eBay or AVforums. Play.com and Amazon are safest options for sim free and usually competitive on price.
