That's really good to hear flyingscotno1.
I'm just biding my time for a few more weeks to see if the price edges down a bit. I have a budget of £25 a month for no longer than an 18 month contract. o2 offered me a 24 month for that but I don't want to be tied in for 24 months.
If I see a PAYG for £200, I'll be in like Flynn!"If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0 -
I think the spanner will definitely be thrown in the works when the Desire S is released in quarter 2..
That will really make decisions difficult. I guess however that the desirability will be reflected in the contract costs.
I'm wondering if that's why the deals on the existing Desire are so good.. clearing the stock maybe?
Anyone have any news as to dates for the Desire S.or even what contracts are going to be like?0 -
What's the Desire S got that the others don't have?"If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0

Check out the reviews from the launch on YouTube...
just a couple are:
Front facing camera
Aluminium unibody
capacitive buttons rather than actual buttons
New operating system called 'Gingerbread' (which everyone seems to be raving about).
and more... they are also launching one that is very similar, slightly bigger screen and better quality camera's called the 'Incredible'.0 -
They're clever, aren't they? managing to keep the buzz going by introducing a new model every few months.
I'll definitely wait until Q2 then. Thanks"If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0 -

Q2 is 14 months after the old one. 18th April Q2 which is fair enough. Main improvement is on board memory.
