Seems to refer to "dsl" and talk of BB and Macs implies only BB users are to be affected. But if NS cannot deal with Biscit the chances are it is about £ and the way Biscit has conducted business lately would hint at financial vulnerablity (or unwillingness to spend).
The ADSL GUIDE (excellent additional support resource) advises all affected to lobby OFCOM since NS and EZEE have acted in this manner (inconveniencing many) previous times; someone is quoted referring to "sharp practices".
Good luck.
Await the fallout....again......0 -
If it's of any help.
V21 announced it is to take legal action against Netservices.
Part of the announcement:
"Today, NetServices, whose share price plummetted this year following a profits warning, decided to take the unprecedented decision to migrate some of V21 customers to another ISP called Ezeedsl, part of the 186k group. V21 strongly recommends that affected customers contact NetServices directly on 0870 753 0900, or by email sarahh@netservicesplc.com, and ask for their MAC codes"Manoj0 -
A colleague says this on a Forum we both use:
Warning to any V21 ISP users
This morning I received a notice when connecting to my ISP that my V21 service had been discontinued and if I wished to continue I could switch to EzeeDSL.co.uk. So, wanting to go online, I paid by direct payment for this through WorldPay.
Checking my Credit Card statements I find that V21 have deducted 3 monthly payments of £19.99 for October.
Contacting my Credit card provider I am told they can’t do any thing about payments and I have to contact V21.
Of course V21's telephone is constantly engaged.
I think I am now an unsecured creditor with V21 and have been done!
Naturally, I will be contacting the credit card company again but does anyone on here know how I will stand legally on these 3 x £19.99 payments?0 -
so how do I get my MAC .There is no way I am paying Ezee £24.990

From V21?
"Today, NetServices, whose share price plummetted this year following a profits warning, decided to take the unprecedented decision"
According to 'the other forum' NS have done this several times before, hence the advice to log this with Ofcom quickly. Maybe they will act this time. Expect the other Consumer bodies could be informed too. I have pasted a brief flag to the BBC ones.
Perhaps there may be a legal basis for challenge by V21 (Biscit) but that costs in time/money and customers lack both. If Biscit cannot receive revenue from their BB users then that will surely stifle their whole business operation.
Will ML now pay attention to this ongoing crisis, I wonder. All help/support gratefully welcomed.0 -
