Thanks Victor Delta. I sent an e-mail to David Field as you suggested yesterday, but no contact.
Anyway the position so far, for me, is that I have the Web, I now have outgoing speed-mail via Outlook Express, and incoming mail by my old e-mail address, - so some contact with my friends and family. However I have just read V21 Update page and they say they cannot get in touch with some of us on speed-mail (am I really surprised at that) so I've let them have another e-mail address, - which they requested.
Question? Why can't they pick up the 'phone, as we have all done and speak to us?? We have all put enough into their coffers via 0870 and 0871 numbers.
Anyway hope they contact me via my old e-mail address, - they caused this shambles by cancelling my password (only 4 letters), but need to tell me what is has been changed to by them!!
What a fiasco. Hope it gets sorted tomorrow!

This is my usual connection speed as well, but now and again I get 48.0kbps0 -
I have the speed-mail addresses working today but still no v21 addresses. Seems no rhyme nor reason to it. Plus my payment has not been taken yet!0

Trading Standards inform me that BISCIT has the following address registered at Companys House:

HIGH ST
EDGWARE
MIDDLESEX
HA8 7RP
Fairly close to their other exotic Show Premises at

Just in case anyone hasn't this info already and is getting annoyed at the lack of communication from this fine upstanding, committed-to-customer-care-and -satisfaction-for-valued-members, bastion of best business practice.0 -
I guess the mods don't stop by this thread anymore
Hmmm......wonder why that might be?

Have other ADSL users recently received an email advising that "you have reached or exceeded your bandwidth allowance for the account type that you are subscribed to"?
I doubt this is correct in my case and looking at the graph in the V21 members area it would appear that it has not recently been rest to zero (as it should be every month on the billing date).
Anyone had the same experience - and, if so, any advice on how to get it sorted?

I have an account with Zazizam/Fast4/Biscit - and want to cancel it. I was advised to do so on 9th Nov by them (opened account on 9th Oct & was told I couldn't cancel it 'til a month after I'd opened it  ) - yet now I've spent the whole of yesterday trying to contact these muppets by phone/email/esp etc!
Is there the facility to cancel an account on their portal system, or have they conveniently taken it away?
Many thanks, I'm another furious person regarding Zazizam's attrocious service - or should I say "lack of"!
Cheers,
S:rolleyes:0 -

For legal reasons i don't want to go into detail or reproduce any communications, neither here or via pm.
I have now received a polite and pleasant response, with an apology, confirming account closed etc. etc. . .
As far as i am concerned, this is closure.
Fingers crossed that the billing system doesn't decide to have one last fling in 2-3 weeks time
Good luck to those people who are leaving, asking for a MAC, looks like it may happen
For people who are staying, the re-hashing of the network won't last forever, it will begin to settle down shortly, i'm sure.0 -
I commenced with Fast 4 last January,on dial up, then changed to broadband on 3 October,( with Fast 4 as it was then,)but am now with V21/Biscit, it is running perfectly, very fast and I am very satisfied, absolutely no problems with either e mails or internet connection. My next bill is due on 13 November, which actually will be the first, as my last payment included set up etc, so wait with baited breath to see what happens.
Originally when I changed to direct debit from credit card as advised to me by Alared, thanks Alared, I spoke to a lady and asked how I would know that they would not use my credit card again and she said when you change it on the customer portal, as you order direct debit, the credit card is automatically cancelled, so we shall see!! That was someone at Fast 4!!!!
Glad to hear things are beginning to settle down now for the dial up folks.
Regards
oap
ps hopefully they will honour my contract which is £11.99 per month!!0
