I guess you are all at work, but this may help eventually

Went on the above link I gave you, and .............

Rang the number 0871 433 3129 which they asked me to do, (after promising myself I WAS NOT GOING TO RING THEM AGAIN!!) but fell for it AGAIN!

Went through the system, hello Biscit, can I help, me "yes you say to ring this number and all would be connected with my account number etc, "sorry she says, I am on reception, me "well its a week now and you have not telephoned me back I said," "sorry she said, what is your account number, we will prioritize it, "but you said that last week , and nobody has phoned me, said I" sorry I am only on reception she said, end of conversation and more money down the drain

Such an old fool am I ................

If you call the v21 support number 0871 433 3129 and provide the ticket engineer with the following details.

So that's what they mean by "Ticket engineer", she's an ex-busconductor! :rotfl:

But thanks for saving me the trouble of phoning up oap

Hi OAP - this appears to be server side issues and not anything to do with your computer email client (ie Outlook). If I were you, even as a temporary measure, I'd set up a Hotmail or Yahoo account (links given in one of my previous posts here on this thread) - they're free and easy to use. Only real hassle is in informing everyone of the alternative email address. Having said that, the beauty is that you theoretically never have to change it again, regardless of how many ISPs you end up going through!
Give it a shot or you can wait the next couple of days to see if V21 et al get their act together.

Yeh, and pink elephants can fly!

    Just had a look.

Although not secure (ie encrypted), the information given is really only your name and email address. Personally, I wouldn't bother as customer services are pretty much non-existant at the moment.

A thought - given all the time, effort and money you're spending chasing up V21, I hope you're keeping a record! Might come in real handy later... ;)

I know this might be a lot of hassle but go to hotmail/gmail or yahoo and open an email account (free) and then start changing everything to it.
I think that Gmail allows you to send an email and they let everyone know your new address.

For Gmail you need a recommendation but there are plenty on these boards who will send you one.

I would give up with this lot, Biscit/V21 as regards emails.
I`ve changed to all the different combinations they say and still can`t get any mail.
Furthermore they promised access to the members area today and that`s not happened either.
Maybe they`re scared they`ll be a mass exodus.

As I said yesterday, anyone who wants a Gmail account, please send me a PM with a current (usable) email address, and I'll post you an invite.

    Just out of interest...

Is there anyone else here who can't connect to the free dial up numbers, or is it just me??
