Hang on - I spoke too soon. My sister's additional email account is accessible under the "qazwsx" password. I've just changed it back to it's original password (but in lowercase).
The other two email accounts belong to my brother and they seem as dead as a dodo. Oh well he wasn't paying anything to Fast4 for them anyway being PAYG.0 -
e mails still down, tried qazwsx did not work, (I am on broadband) have phoned three times, they have not rung back. As I am really a novice at this having only ever set it up twice, what is webmail? I am wondering whether to re do it all with biscit there instead of v21. Its is strange, as I have mentioned before that lin2.biscit is appearing in my task bar when I try to connect and it is saying password not recognised?
As a matter of interest are any of you on broadband with them, thanks oap0 -
Have just tried that webmail address, could not log in, said not recognised, tried the qaz etc, still not recognised so that is no help, crikey oap0

I have just had the fabulous idea of sending test emails to my brothers inaccessible email accounts and they bounced straight back to me :
These recipients of your message have been processed by the mail server:
jayl@speed-mail.co.uk; Failed; 5.1.1 (bad destination mailbox address)
Remote MTA mail.speed-mail.co.uk: SMTP diagnostic: 550 sorry, no mailbox here by that name. (#5.7.17)
So it does look like Biscuit have just ditched my brother's account because he wasn't a paying customer. They obviously don't like Freeloaders.0 -
Hi oap. Webmail, is just going to an address in your browser to check mail
they now say the address is
http://webmail.speed-mail.co.uk
I don't know if that works, not tried it myself, since i cancelled, but others will say if it works.
Could also be the qazwsx password problem also?
What is lin.2 ??
if you hover the mouse over it, or right click on it, what does it say?0 -
There's some sort of Biscuit Login page at
http://v21status.biscit.net/serendipity_admin.php
Don't know what customers it relates to (might be Broadband).0 -

It doesn't. Not with userename or email address as user ID, or with genuine password or qazwsx, or any combination.0 -
When I set up my account, I paid the first month by credit card, and all subsequent monthly payments by direct debit. Imagine my shock when I have just discovered that they have taken this month’s subscription by credit card! I was even more surprised that they had been successful because I have recently been issued with a new card bearing a different authorisation code and expiry date.
I have rung my cc provider and they are investigating. But they did say that with subscriptions, all that was needed was the main cc number (which hadn’t changed). They have put a block on my card, and are going to issue me with a new card with a new number.
This now appears to me to be a clear scam on two fronts – credit card and 0870/0871 dialling. I am now going to write to them formally cancelling the contract informing them that I find them in breach, not only for presenting unauthorised cc transactions, but for failing to provide “unlimited” internet access for 10 days now. I must also remember to cancel my direct debit.

Looks like Fast4 Broadband is temporarily our of action
http://www.fast4.net/_files/512k_unlim_new.asp
This service is temporarily unavailable. Full service will resume shortly. We apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
The Dial-Up page has no such announcement so I assume it should still be working for those customers
