Havent been able to log on for one week and now have few library mins left.
Went to BISCIT HQ (stated as 9 HALE LANE MILL HILL LONDON NW7 3NU) on 24/10 to confront CEO H Paterson. Found a grubby looking estate agents called COMFORT HOMES where ONE aged Indian lady was chasin smoking and juggling two anitquated phones; ONE DESK NO OTHER STAFF! There was a tiny placue on the wall behind her statign BISCIT!
Without shame she said this was only a MAILING ADDRESS AND THAT THE 0870 NUMBERS HAD STAFF 24/7.
This has to be some sort of scam operating? So very WATCHDOG that a presumed company for 6000 custoemrs taking on 30000 more DOES NOT EVEN HAVE ITS OWN OFFICE AND MAILING ADDRESS????
H Paterson left mesage on my BT phone saying he wished to explain himself and his problems. He suggested i phone ROBYN SANDLER as his "PA"; she has previously emailed as "SALES ADMINISTRATOR" so do we have a staff of TWO???
Replied and of course no one there, just an ansa recording service; lfet name/number and no reply in two days!
Lucky for some you can connect get replies; I am not so lucky but intend trying getting BIG compensation over this. This seems to be criminal!

Well today first problem Ihave had with them, in my task bar when I go into outlook express it says biscit lin 2, and I cannot access any e mails, however, I get connected to the internet, weird. Have phoned the number 0870 383 0030 abd tapped number 1 for V21 customers and spoke with a lady, told her the story, she took my phone number and said somebody would get back to me, that is where I am at, I got a message saying password not recognised, and then in the details server not recognised or something like that, how strange I have been connected to the internet, but no outlook express??
I sort of feel I should not be here with you all as I have gone broadband with them, right in the middle of the changeover (before I knew what was happening, just sods law I suppose) but so far everything has been fine.
It seems it is not recognising my speed-mail pop 3, suppose that is because it says bicit in the task bar.
Will keep on reading these posts which have been a great comfort and let you know how I get on and whether they ring me back, until then I have no e mails out or in!! regards oap0 -

My speed-mail is not working today (was OK yesterday)
Box keeps popping up asking for username and password (which is already showing) but when I click OK,it just pops up again
so no access.
No doubt Biscit has knocked speed-mail off for the time being.
I know this won`t affect you but my connection is now cut after exactly one hour.0 -
Not likely to get a response if you can't send the email though!!!
Luckily I sent my email yesterday. Still waiting for my response, but can't get at my emails so it could be there waiting for me.
Have twice spoken to reps on the 0870 383 0030 line. (Amazing - twice in one day and it's the first time I've ever been able to get a person on the other end at all - hmmmm.) Both times have been promised a call back, once this morning and once 10 mins ago. No call yet. Have they just hired staff to repeat the answer phone message??? Mentioned that I was waiting for an email from Hugh Paterson, hoping it'd produce a quicker call back, but the name meant absolutely nothing. Gggrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!0 -
Nothing,, they have not called me back,, so I called again and spoke to biscit this time, well try this in your password box, qazwsx, ok, if that does not work, please phone V21 again and they will go through all your set up again. Hmmm. You must have changed something he said, I have NOT said I, not touched anything, but you have, as lin2.biscit.net has never appeared in my task bar before, I told him I think you have changed me to biscit and you should have sent me an e mail on how to re set it up, which you have not done.
So I have just phoned again 0870 383 0030 and left a message with all details, however, I have been able to log on to web page of V21 and there it says speed mail whatever it is we use, is down!!!! 27 Oct, so maybe thats the problem, they do not seem to have thought all this through before changing the companies.

Very similar experience. Encouraged by two others in previous posts who managed to get their names added to the biscit database, I thought I'd give it a try. This morning phoned number above, selected option 1 and was told that no-one was there, she was on reception and could I give her my name and number and someone would phone back. No-one did, so I tried option 3 this afternoon - gives you the biscit sales support number which is 08714333069. Phoned that one and surprise, surprise, ended up speaking to the same person as this morning. Full of apologies, no-one there to take my call etc etc. This really is a shambles. Still can't connect - 9 days now.
