I asked this question to them a while ago, and have just managed to find it on my accounts queries page, this is what they said when I asked how long I got for my £11.98 .....................Capped means the amount of bandwidth you may usage in a given time, with our capped service we allow customers to have 2 gigabytes of bandwidth per month free, above 2 gigabytes, extra gigabytes are charged at £2 thereafter.0

This was an e-mail i got back from customer services:
Hi Kevin,
You are a customer of V21. Fast4 and V21 were sister companies, however parted company shortly before the biscit merger. Biscit have acquired V21, and V21 now resell Biscit services. Our new packages can be found on our homepage.
Kind Regards,
Gareth

You might like to download this free program for monitoring the amount of BB you use.
http://readerror.gmxhome.de/
Don`t know what it`s like because I don`t have BB0 -
that program will work with dialup connections too... as far as I am aware.... if it can monitor ethernet and usb connections, i do nt see why it cannot monitor a bog standard 56k modem0

Hi Alared, well you are right, I am surprised, I have phoned both V21 helpline and their sales line. No they said, the package now is with phone at £19.99 per month, oh dear I asked if they are going to charge me more, which I would not pay, no they said, we will honour the contract you made at £11.99 so I am very relieved and chuffed and seem to have a good deal. We did not want a phone line tied to our broadband in any case. We use 1899. Cheers, oap"0844 COSTS YOU MORE"0 -
theloft wrote:With PRIMUS (approx£10 per month for 1Gb unlimited) you keep your BT line and can still use 1899 etc. although you get free evening and week-end calls to UK landlines thrown in. Excellent service as well with free modem & connection. Tel: 0800 036 0094
Primus sounds good, as you say, but I can't help wondering if you are one of their employees?

As someone who "knows" Theloft from the last couple of years via the boards,I can assure you he has no connection (apart from his BB) with Primus whatsoever.0 -

Have had enough of 'rumours', drip-drip essential info bleeding, non-access to the F4/V21/NJP sites and even when trying to use the F4 contact page now get this!

This error is caused when the server has a list of IP addresses that are not allowed to access the site, and the IP address you are using is in this list.
NO updated emails to inform 'WTH is going on' at their preferred communicative tool of the speed-mail address neither.
SO have sent all gruesome details to OFCOM, BBC WATCHDOG, BBC YOU+YOURS, BBC News (this boardroom battle is deserving a financial reporter investigating the mayhem and back-stabbing) and my local MP too!
Am not content to have responded to an advertised £4.99 UNLIMITED contract only to find access denied for large proportion of the first month, been assured that the takeover preserves my £4.99 contract (including the scheduled 2nd payment on 14/10) yet now see the V21/F4 sites proclaiming the cost is £7.99!!!!!
UK Trade Descriptions, and ASA rules, as anyone who regularly reads this site knows, protect consumers from such harvesting of vulnerable applicants through spurious offers; 'lure em in cheap and then whack up hidden charges without warning'. Just NOT ON!!!!!!!!!0 -
JoanneJ wrote:trying to use the F4 contact page now get this!
this is more likely due to that it seems that upon submitting the contact form to fast4, it is being sent to a secure page on NJP Services home page instead. This is due to Fast4 (or their NJP owners) not linking the two forms correctly, in the first place. I would personally get in contact via https://www.njpservices.com - and send them an email via there, and while your at it, tell them to fix the fast4 contact form, which will help othersJoanneJ wrote:Am not content to have responded to an advertised £4.99 UNLIMITED contract only to find access denied for large proportion of the first month, been assured that the takeover preserves my £4.99 contract (including the scheduled 2nd payment on 14/10) yet now see the V21/F4 sites proclaiming the cost is £7.99!!!!!
Have you actually paid £7.99 on your last payment to fast4 on the 14/10? If you have, and they have failed to inform you of the price increase, then you should have some sort of right to a refund or something.
If you don't know, then this might just be the new price, for new customers only - so in a way, you would be better off!
Anyhow, V21 have never offered an unlimited dialup package to my knowledge, it has only ever been Fast40 -
I could not find the Primus offers anywhere on the net, regards oap, too late now, but interesting if it is good for future.0
