indeed i did... though now it will not work for me either, which is strange... i had previously seen the maintainance page before, so my computer ws not working offline, or working from temp internet files... maybe they were testing an upgrade?

That seems like a strange way to have customers. Why get rid of all your customers and then seek new ones? Way beyond my understanding!

Hi Alared, well you are right, I am surprised, I have phoned both V21 helpline and their sales line. No they said, the package now is with phone at £19.99 per month, oh dear I asked if they are going to charge me more, which I would not pay, no they said, we will honour the contract you made at £11.99 so I am very relieved and chuffed and seem to have a good deal. We did not want a phone line tied to our broadband in any case. We use 1899.

I sent an enquiry again to them re changing my default, did not know how to do it, it wanted Fast 4, and straight away came a reply telling me how to do it, so impressed so far!!!

Well yes, I thought that too, that is why I phoned, since my last post I have looked again and it seems it is still there as it says existing customers whichyou all are upgrade here, but it tells me I am already there, so cannot go any further, so its worth a try if anyone is interested, by the way Alared I have changed to direct debit, thanks for that. As far as I know its 2 gigabytes or 2 megabytes, not sure which is which!!!
