Fast4/V21/Biscit (merged threads)

Funny day today. I can get connected (most of the time) but fast4's website down, email down, member's bit down.

Does anyone know whats going on with Fast 4 / V21 / Biscit???

I thought V21 was the parent company of Fast 4 yet there is an announcement on the V21 website talking about scams from a compnay called Fast 4???

I thought I was a Fast 4 customer but when I try to log into my Fast 4 account on the members pages is states access denied, yet if I try on the V21 website it logs in without any problems.

Something very strange is going on????

Hi folks, well you are having a really bad time, maybe I am glad I have gone broadband, at £11.99 this is still advertised on the V21website it is capped to 2 megabytes,(is it meg or gig, ) a month, but its plenty for me. Wow it is so fast, I cannot believe it.

Straight on, no waiting, great, well so far its great, will keep you posted!!

That notice reads to me as a definite scam, I have been warned never to reply to those as they get hold of your e mail address. How nasty some folk can be.

Best of luck to you all, and yes it was a problem on Friday, they changed to Biscit, all of the accounts, and there was a blip in the system, so none of the customer support folk could get into your account to check anything. It seems to be all up and running now.

A friend told me today that Talk Talk have bought AOL and Warehouse, or the other way round, so maybe these smaller companies are trying to get together to compete with the big boys. I do not know anything about Biscit, two weeks ago I was with Fast 4, then it became V21, and by the time my broadband got sorted I was with Biscit, crikey!!!

Just got off the phone to Fast 4 Customer Services,

Have been told that Fast 4 is now a seperate company from V21 and Biscit and will trade with its own BB and Dial Up deals. Asked them why i couldn't log into the members area of the Fast 4 website but could log on within the V21 members are and was told that my account may be with V21 now but he could not check it completely as the systems were down - !!!!

Tried to call Fast 4 later on in the day to see if the systems were back up and running but an answering machine states that there having system maintenace done and nobody can answer the phone!!

I'm trying to change over from dial up to BB with Fast 4... Total Nightmare so far!!!

i've been having loads of problems with my connection lately.

seems to have got MUCH worse since the dial-up number change (i guess this was because of the sale of v21?)

i'm slightly bemused now regarding this fast4.net scam thing?

are we victims or somehow caught up in this?

all very annoying, it's all we and good offering a cheap package but not much good when you cannot connect half the time and now no email.

incidently i tried logging in on the v21 members area using my fast4 details but access denied!!

I tried logging into the V21 members are with my Fast 4 details and it was ok?? Something very strange going on!!

Carpy, When did you sign up to Fast 4? I signed up in 2004, The advisor I spoke with at Fast 4 this morning said that some customers may have been transfered to V21 and some will stay with Fast 4.

Hi Matrix, it costs more than V21 look at V21 website, depends on how much you use it, regards oap
