168 hours a month, regards oap (dial up)0

Well yes, whatever you do, they can get you, I got two payments taken out of my credit card in one month some time ago, they apologised and missed out the following month, ie September. I am in Nat West and use their action line all the time over the phone, you can dial up your bank balance and statements and payments etc, any time, any day, so easy to check. With the credit card only could check once a month, unless you check into your credit card account on line which I do not like doing. I followed Alareds advice which is that you can stop a direct debit easier than trying to stop them taking from your credit card.
I was concerned as you will see from previous posts of mine, that I am about to go bb with them, when I rang them I asked the question, I have signed up to direct debit, how do I know you are going to stop taking from credit card as well, they said when you click on direct debit and fill it in it automatically cancels the credit card payment, we shall see!!
Hope this helps anybody, regards and thanks to all for the input, it is so helpful and makes one feel not alone in these situations. Regards oap0 -
Help, I haven't needed to access the members area for at least a year and have spent ages trying various passwords I may have registered with, I really begrudge having to pay national rate to call and get them to re-send my password, I have emailed them but as I am an existsing user they state they will not reply - any ideas??? or am I going to have to bite the bullet and phone them?Cats have 9 lives, we only get 1 so live a little! :rotfl:0

they shouldn't email you something like a password, since it is a security issue - you need to phone them up unfortunately0

Your username and password in the member's area is exactly the same as your dialup username and password. Hope this helps0 -
Just had a look at the V21 site although there`s very little indication that it is V21,all Biscit now.
Their BB packages are absolute crap, beats me how they`ll get any customers.
Their "max lite" package for instance is £14-99 for a 2 gb a month download and every 1gb after that is £1-99
Unlimited starts at £27-500 -
Oops sorry, yes per week!! Well I am sticking to my £11.99 a month for broadband 2 gigs, as above, if they try and increase it I will cancel the contract (hope that is possible, ??) regards oap0

I think you`ve done well with your deal @ £11-99
As you can see from my post above V21/Biscit is a lot dearer.0 -
Is or was Fast4 the same as Free24-7 and is anyone having dial up problems with them. I only ask because my son went for fast4 the other day and site was down so he signed with Free24-7 which shows Biscit on his log in page.
But last 2 days he cannot get logged on site is down.
Just wondering if he has the correct dial up number as it is a recent connection or if there is anyone who is having same issues ?.
