More here and also a link but I still can`t get it.
How long will it take for the DNS settings for the domain name to get around the internet?

    This whole affair gets stranger.
On their site,at above link, they state anyone with V21 prior to 21st March 07 (yesterday) are Biscit customers.

When I click on their members area and put in my Fast4 user and password,I can access my account under the V21 banner!!

Now,before Biscit came on the scene V21 owned Fast4.
It now looks like V21 resurrected as from yesterday by the same people that run Fast4

    Yes, they are both njpservices.
fast4 have T&C on website saying caller id has to enabled on bt line for dial-up access. But no T&C for v21 to see if it needs caller id too.

I was a Fast4 dial-up customer for a few years but cancelled my DD with them at Christmas because of the appalling service. I have now gone with Sky Broadband.

Up until last week I was still receiving my speed-mail messages into my outlook. Is there any way I can still receive these without changing from Sky?

    Many Thanks

    Hi,

How are you finding your Sky Broadband? I'm in the process of getting it installed.

I think speed-mail is now also defunct

Sky was a nightmare at first with the engineer they sent wiring it all up wrong so it would not work. After the initial teething problems it has been fine. I am on the £10 a month package.

It is a shame about the speed-mail as I still used to receive quite a few emails from that.

    Hi

Firstly - sorry I haven't yet read through all of the posts on this topic (haven't had the time yet!)

I wondered if anyone reading this might be able to advise me.

I was with Fast4 internet originally on dial up £6.99 a month, the first I knew that something was wrong was when my January payment didn't get taken, and I found this topic and saw that Biscit had taken over my account seemingly, and I thought I might be getting a letter, then February came and went with no money going out of my account again, and at that stage I emailed Biscit asking them what was happening (no reply), so I came back here to check for latest news and can see Biscit are no more.

I probably haven't used my dial up this year (we only wanted it for the odd time and haven't been on lately), so I don't know if I can get online - I suspect not - but I am worried about who I owe my January/February (and possibly March) payments to, and how I cancel - or if I need to cancel.

I guess I am just generally very confused - I might try some of the phone numbers I have seen on here, but thought I would also post a message to see if anyone might take pity and advise me!!

    Thanks for reading

    Deb

    Hossa25,

It would depend upon when you joined Fast4 originally.

If you joined them between certain dates (July, I think and Novemberish 2006), then you were transfered to V21.

V21 were then taken over by the crumby Biscit bunch.

    Biscit have now gone under.

I must ask, if you haven't used dialup THIS YEAR (!) then why the hell were you paying £6.99 a month for it? and why are you worrying who you owe the money too, you must be able to afford it anyway.:o

For what it's worth, a few of us on here haven't paid since November; we didn't refuse, just no-one took the money. It's unlikely that they will do now, as they are in liquidation.
