They seem to be in a complete state of shambles.
As I said earlier I set up a new DD last Wed through the members area
still not showing at my bank.
I wouldn`t trust this lot an inch but DD is the right way to go.
Don`t make any other kind of payment.
Won`t belong before they go bust
next thing will be an email out of the blue saying XYZ has aquired Biscit and the whole fiasco will start again.
Is ther any point having OFCOM,who must surely know about all the trouble but appear to do nowt.0 -
This lot are really getting on my tits now. I cancelled back in December as well after they took a double payment. Cancelled by letter and got the overpayment refunded.
Now I get the unprofessional looking spam like email demanding money. They are asking for £17.98 although I used to pay £8.99. Do they know what they are doing???
I which they would hurry up and go bust and put us all out of our misery. They are the biggest bunch of cowboys out there. Glad to be rid of them.:mad:0 -

I took your advice alared. Also, I contacted the people who process the card payments for Biscit and they said that a company could continue to take money from customers cards, using their payment system, if a recurring payment was setup. Now, knowing Biscit, even though you wouldn't have agreed to it, they would continue to take a payment every month  !0 -

Me too, but haven't checked re February.carpy wrote:surely they can't suddenly hit us with a bill back dated from then due to their incompetence......that doesn't seem fair!!!
I bet they can, though personally I wouldn't think it that unfair. Currently I'm getting very good service even if I was actually being charged the £4.99 a month.
Seems the BB service has been having problems for a couple of days - it's actually mentioned three times on the V21 status page.
This news about Hugh P going could be good or bad. Good if he was the problem, bad if he has realised it's all beyond fixing. Either way I get the impression the current mess can't go on much longer.
I'm just hoping the TalkTalk offer becomes reliable (I'm not convinced it is at present), or a reliable alternative becomes available, before being (possibly) having to face no more Fast4 dialup £4.99 a month.0 -
I don't know if this has been mentioned already, but it would appear that some cheques sent out to overcharged customers have bounced. Read here.0

Shame it wasn't a cheque for more money - I think if they bounce a cheque for £750 or more the bouncee can begin winding up proceedings against biscit.0 -
My Dad just got the same email as post #1143. Going to write direct to someone high up at Biscit before Ofcom.
My Dad is worried this will esculate in to some massive debt collection saga. Personally I would be tempted to ignore it and see what happens. Wouldn't surprise me if they took someone to court for £10.
Edit: Deleted whole copy of email as noticed its on here already, bashed out the original message in rage when I read it!0 -

I don't think you have to worry, they can't change the price of the service without notifying you and then expect you to pay. They surely would have to give you the option of leaving first?
A question for you and others who have had these emails, can you tell me the address they were sent to?
The reason I ask is that I don't use my 'provided' email at all, basically I couldn't get on so I got sick of trying, now I use gmail instead.
If these notifications are ONLY being sent to V21/biscit based email addresses, I'll bet I'm not the only one missing them.0 -
It was sent to a non V21 address, the one used when signing up. Eg somebody@hotmail.com etc.0
