As you may know I'm dithering about going BB when I finally get rid of this shower of sh**e,so I had a quick look at Zazizam and I see the £4.99 deal is for unlimited between 1.00am and 8.00am is that what you were referring to?
Yes I have set up a DD, but have not had chance to check my account.
Why is it you only get a stable connection after about the fifth attempt, or have I got a dodgy modem?

You were lucky to get out when you did, the problems really started after that, with no way of contacting them, no members page (with a cancel option),and them still taking money using any means available.
I believe they even took money using initial sign up CC details despite those being superceded by DD.
I for one could not just walk away with them taking £4.99 whenever they fancied, so the only option has been to wait for some contact to be re-established ,then get out (hopefully) as fast as possible!Move along, nothing to see.0 -
Zazizam? are they not still a V21 Biscit virtual ISP? There's a list on ispr (linky below) although it is quite an old post so some of the VISPs most likely have changed supplier. VISPs usually use the same URL domain for the sign-up pages when they ask for your credit card. V21 VISPs use https://secure.ispserve.co.uk so that is the most reliable way to check.

On the zazizam website it shows £4.99 being the nightfire package unlimited between 1am and 8am. In the members area my account shows I'm on Fast and unlimited monthly, whatever that means. I originally signed up with Freetalk with unlimited dial up anytime for £4.99 plus the cost of phone calls which were through them. I haven't a clue who I'm with anymore and what's more I don't think they do. I haven't paid anything since the beginning of December and they can't take any money from my credit card cos it's expired. What concerns me is that whoever the ISP is they may try and land me with a big bill for late payment or something. I've e mailed biscit numerous times with no reply and written recorded delivery twice, so if they try it on I've kept copies. I must say though that my internet connection since Christmas has been faultless.0 -

I did get out quite quickly but not before they managed to take £4-99 from me illegally by CC even after I had been set up by direct debit. My protection against further thefts was to get my CC provider to issue a new card. I wrote to biscit formally cancelling the contract.
I moved to Vispa on their £7-99 deal for 80 hours (dialup). This suited me fine, and more importantly, I have had no problems - just troublefree browsing (now that's tempting fate eh?). Good luck to all who stay with Biscit. I must admit I hate the sound of their threatening letters.

"Dear User,
Re: FINAL Reminder for outstanding balance of £33.98
Following our recent invoices for Internet/Telephony, issued to you, we do not appear to have received a satisfactory payment from you, and your account is showing an outstanding balance of £33.98
As we do not appear to have a valid Direct Debit mandate or Bank Standing Order mandate set up for you, we kindly request that you pay the outstanding balance by Credit Card IMMEDIATELY in order to avoid termination of your service.
You can use the logon details below, together with the link to the Members Portal, as supplied on your invoice.
Username : xxxxxxxxxx
Password : xxxxxxxxxx
If you have already set up a new Direct Debit with us, then you DO NOT need to take any action, and this email is for INFORMATION ONLY.
Failure to provide payment promptly will result in termination of your active service.
Please note that you must pay this balance by Credit Card immediately using the link for the Members Portal, or!
send a cheque payable to Biscit Internet, if you are unable to pay by credit card or access the Members Portal.
Cheques should be sent to: Biscit Internet, Berkeley House, 18-24 High Street, Edgware, Middlesex, HA8 7RP.
You are URGENTLY advised to pay this amount by return in order to clear your account. If payment has already been made, please IGNORE this reminder, and we accordingly apologise for troubling you.
If you no longer have or require the service, then you must still pay this outstanding balance in order to clear this account. If you fail to settle this account, then we will proceed with further action.
FINALLY, you can also set up a new Direct Debit for future payments, (but we can not use your Direct Debit to clear the balance shown above, only for future invoices), using the Members Portal, or using the secure link below, and make sure that yor provide your Account Number, as shown on your latest invoice.

Ian, which Inbox/email address?
I've never used they email Biscit/V21 provided me with, and I've had no other communications from them. Fast4 sent emails to my secondary/first contact address, but if V21 are sending me stuff like this, I don't know anything about it.
I know I've asked this before of someone else, but I'd like to know if this is the usual way they do this.0 -
I was with V21, but left them when I left my old flat last year. However, I've still received the odd email from them, but I've just received one that's incredibly odd:
