Posted my cancellation off today, like many other I had no service and received that (spam looking) email that you all had, so contacted customer service and gave them hell!!!!. im sick of the rude, "lie through your teeth" type of customer service , they already have my letter of cancellation that should have been enough. They broke contract multiple time, over charging , taking payment days before it was due, renewing a contract with my consent , need i go on.

Like most of you they took two extra payments in October 06, so the way i see it, Jan 2007 and Feb 2007 are already paid for. And if they want to take me to court over it, i will be happy to go, and show them for what they really are. Any court in the land would agree with my side of the story. I have the evidence to back it up.

I just want to be free of them!!

I'm sorry you guys are still suffering. I had enough months ago and moved on. Businesses who treat their customers in this manner don't deserve to succeed. Vote with your feet.

  • Has anyone on this thread actually filled in and sent the Direct Debit in the Biscit members area for the £9.99?

I just found this little treat in my inbox, it reads.

    "Dear User,

Re: FINAL Reminder for outstanding balance of £33.98

Following our recent invoices for Internet/Telephony, issued to you, we do not appear to have received a satisfactory payment from you, and your account is showing an outstanding balance of £33.98

As we do not appear to have a valid Direct Debit mandate or Bank Standing Order mandate set up for you, we kindly request that you pay the outstanding balance by Credit Card IMMEDIATELY in order to avoid termination of your service.

You can use the logon details below, together with the link to the Members Portal, as supplied on your invoice.

    Username : xxxxxxxxxx
    Password : xxxxxxxxxx

If you have already set up a new Direct Debit with us, then you DO NOT need to take any action, and this email is for INFORMATION ONLY.

Failure to provide payment promptly will result in termination of your active service.

Please note that you must pay this balance by Credit Card immediately using the link for the Members Portal, or!
send a cheque payable to Biscit Internet, if you are unable to pay by credit card or access the Members Portal.
Cheques should be sent to: Biscit Internet, Berkeley House, 18-24 High Street, Edgware, Middlesex, HA8 7RP.

You are URGENTLY advised to pay this amount by return in order to clear your account. If payment has already been made, please IGNORE this reminder, and we accordingly apologise for troubling you.

If you no longer have or require the service, then you must still pay this outstanding balance in order to clear this account. If you fail to settle this account, then we will proceed with further action.

FINALLY, you can also set up a new Direct Debit for future payments, (but we can not use your Direct Debit to clear the balance shown above, only for future invoices), using the Members Portal, or using the secure link below, and make sure that yor provide your Account Number, as shown on your latest invoice.

Link to set up Direct Debit : https:\https://www.biscit.ne!

    Kind regards,
    on behalf !
    of your
    Service Provider"
  • Just looking round the alternative ISP'S to see what was available. Came across Zazizam. Seems thay do a dial up package and phone calls called 'Freetalk'same name as who I was originally with before it was taken over by Biscit. Tried logging in to the members area of Zazizam using my old Freetalk username and password and it worked. Looks like I've been a member of Zazizam since 01/01/07 without even knowing it! According to the members area I've had a contract with them at £4.99 a month.
