I take it that you`ve now managed to set up your DD.
When i get to the listen again page
what story do I then click onto?
Yeah im all setup again. I did email (spam) them about the problem last night, this moring i logged into the members portal only to find it working again, they even sent me a pdf version to send back to them.
As for "you and yours" im sorry, it looks as if the audio recording has been updated with a new version0 -

I can't get on to it either. I've tried both versions of my username, (even though I'm not sure that I ever was a V21 customer!). I was transfered from Fast4.
I haven't received any invoices, and I haven't paid anything since November.
Although I find it hilarious being on the web for nothing, I also worry about them hitting me with a bill that I won't be able to pay!
exactly the same as you capt slog.
i've tried all sorts of combinations but cannot log-in.
like you i never was V21 customer as far as i'm aware???
i too haven't been charged since Nov, i like it having the internet for free!!!
surely they can't suddenly hit us with a bill back dated from then due to their incompetence......that doesn't seem fair!!!0 -
alared wrote:I managed to set it up last Wed but so far there`s nothing showing on my bank account, which I`ll be checking every day.
OK, today is only the fifth "working day" and I don`t know how long it would take.
Reading the latest posts about these resignations,I wouldn`t be surprised if there`s nobody there to deal with accounts.
You might find that you have a chunk of money taken out on the 1st date of the new month.0 -

I think I would go with F4 dial-up,even at £7-99.
Can`t think of anyone better or cheaper than that for unlimited.
alared - if you're on 1899 or similar, why not go with geoisp?
Pay a connection fee and stay for as long as you want.
£2 more and you can do what I've done with Virgin. Their bb has been so good that I've now even got 2 other computers networked through a router and hub so we can all go on bb at the same time!
How sad is that?I'm NOT political so DON'T correct me!0 -

Logged on a few minutes back, hmm Biscits fairly flying, best try the DD page yet again, straight thru all completed in seconds, print off sheet, thinks, perhaps now everyones leaving not so bad, then reality check ,lost connection then the next one lasted less than a minute.
I have now sent off refund application form and cancellation form, notice 2 completely different addresses, Edgware and N London (or are they similar, oim from Dem).
After reading the last two days of news I wonder if anyone is left to handle the post!
Nix
I'm still not sure about BB you seem OK with Virgin, I think that would be my choice at the moment.
But then I have been trying https://www.geoisp.co.uk at times over the last week ,it's been no worse than Biscit and it's just pick a user name and password put in the number and off you go with no registration or email confirmations or anything.
The only drawback would be using on a weekday when I don't have 1899 setup ,but Primus looks after evenings and weekends.Januarys bill was 4p ,how do they make money !
Carpy
I also paid nothing from mid November but suddenly got an invoice 1st February for 01-1-07 til 01-3-07 and I thought I was geting away with it.
Couple of tough questions from the Biscit cancellation form
Would an improved package tempt you to stay?
Would you recommend us to a friend? (I wouldn't recommend you to an enemy).
The ironic thing is, if I manage to get away from Biscit, I'll probably be on the computer 50% less 'cos there'll be no forums to check on , so making a stronger argument against investing in BB.
CheersMove along, nothing to see.0 -
spud17 - yup, am very happy with my deal so far. My free telephone calls start on the 19th so am anticipating telephone bills similar to yours hopefully! Er, then agiain there's the OH so, in reality, not much chance of that. Why are women so hard to control?
Definitely living a more stress free life since leaving Bis*it! It's been a while since I've tried to punch a hole in the monitor.
My cancellation form went off the other day to Edgware. I got a receipt of posting and suggest anyone else sending off these forms to do the same, you never know if you might need some proof...I'm NOT political so DON'T correct me!0 -

To which I have replied as follows (to the cancellations address):
Hello - I have just received this e-mail from you; apart from the fact that it looks like spam I cancelled this service in December after a double payment was taken and the service degraded to the point of non-existance. I have no intention of paying your company the amount you demand and I encourage you to expedite this matter towards court proceedings at which time you can produce evidence that I agreed to a new contract starting 1/1/2007 and I will produce my proof of cancellation. Dependent upon your responce to this e-mail I will be referring this matter to OFCOM.
Regards,
What a bunch of w*#kers.
[edit] luckily I checked my Spam folder where I found an auto reply stating "Please note that your original email will not be read by a human and you must now take further action if you still require a response."
That there are no humans at biscit should come as no surprise.0 -
O_T_E I got the same email, although I am still with Biscit. At least in that email it contains a link to a secure DD form. Check it out here:
