    Hello again

At work, air conditioning getting abit chilly - and this damp weather does nothing for your hairstyles does it??:rotfl: it seems to be permanently frizzy!

The house I went to view in the week is now up on the new agents website - I am really in a dilemma as to whether to go for it or not? but I dont like the idea of possibly having a 100K mortgage! seeing as im nearly finished on my current one! but i really NEED a bigger house for my brood - that'll teach me to have more kids eh:rotfl: :rotfl:

there is a new lady in the next office so i introduced myself today and we had a nice chat!

michelle - yes a lot of fat did run out! DH suggested next time to just get breasts! I only bought it whole because i got it reduced to £4 in asda so though i would try it!

mimif - We are planning to go to Legoland this weekend, weather permitting - probably saturday as i think thats supposed to be the best day - i got those annual passes using my clubcard points so we have to get them validated before end Oct! If we dont go sat and go sunday then maybe we can arrange a mini meet on the lego cars?:rotfl:

SOMO1 - Thats awful! how did they get it was it locked up?
bikes unfortunately are the one thing they do like to pinch all the time! I think they should bring back cutting off their hands as a deterrent!

    off for another coffee.....

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Hello!

Just put down my copy of Shirley Goodes kitchen, have decided to follow her rule of 4 idea and split the hk into 4 groups: Dairy, meat and fish, fruit and veg and groceries and see if that will organise me better and help me meet the October grocery challenge.

OH is out in London today so I am having another leftover day of:

    Breakfast - Grapefruit half
elevenses - marmite rice cake (from last weeks special visitors to stay shop)
Lunch - leftover hm soup with leftover wholemeal pasta added instead of bread
Dinner - leftover pasta bake (using up leftover chicken from roast), banana bread

All my unsold amazon books are ending so have to go relist them and have yet to tackle the ironing pile (could I get away with putting a tablecloth over it all and a pot plant on the top? would any one notice?:rotfl: )

    Catz x

Just having my lunch of salady leftovers - I got a few prawns out of the freezer this morning to go with it, and the end result is surprisingly appetising. I think there's a splash too much tabasco in my marie rose sauce tho! <insert fire breathing smilie here>

Chicken Cordon Bleu for tea tonight - one of my faves. That reminds me I must go whizz up some breadcrumbs so they dry out a bit by tea time. It's all helping to reduce my freezer contents, even OH is taking great delight in crossing off items on the list stuck to the door!

Am I glad it's Friday, although I still have a pile of invoices to look through & particularly awkward long term sickness absence problem to sort out. You have to be a jack of all trades in my job!

Hugs to all, especially Catowen & SOMO1 - how awful for you.
Well done to Poshpaws (or should that be skinny paws? LOL) Isn't 21lb a stone and a half?

Have added a few more items to my list of Chrissy prezzies for OH, now I just need to go out & buy them. I desperately want to get a video copied onto DVD for him (we don't have a video player anymore) but because it's taped off the TV no-one will touch it cos of copyright. Ho hum.....

hope the sun is shining where you are..........

Well I remembered to get the pork tenderloin out of the freezer this morning and also have mince defrosting. Mince is for lasagna for freezing and pork will be stuffed with fresh herbs and mozzerella and then cooked in a tomato and garlic sauce in a roasting bag. Served with rice probably... hmmm

Very non OS lunch - chicago town microwave pizza - it's the time of month where I crave SOME junkfood tho so I think £1.50 for a couple of microwave pizza's isn't too bad...

Hoping to have a chance to make the rice pudding tonight. Just been too tired to make it during the week :(

Making more stars too with any luck, want to try and get a good few of those done ready as soon as possible for grand parents pressies. The Smaller they are tho the longer they seem to take ;)

    Hi everyone!
It's raining stair rods here in Sussex today and my OS solution to this is ....a nice fresh pot of tea and toasted crumpets. Never fails to cheer me up!!
Been a busy bee today and got a dark load through and all the linen and bedding changed before I left for work.
Will be dashing out for the weekly shop at Tesco as soon as I've eaten tonight. OH is doing egg and chips.
My frugal menu for the week is to be:
Toad in the Hole [already got all the bits]
    SC spag bol
Liver [or slither as it's affectionately known as in my house!] in red wine
Lidl pizza [in freezer] busy evening
    mushroom stroganoff
    tuna bake
Friday has been officially designated freezer dip so that will be all those odd bits I've frozen and can't now remember what they are:rotfl: :rotfl:
OS for the weekend will be do a chunk more Chrimbo shopping and a frugal free walk up Leith Hill if the weather permits. If not we shall dig out the National Trust cards
    Have a great weekend!
