Got the first cashback of £86 in September 2011. Uploaded December bill on 16.12.2011. Got immediate acknowledgement but no SMS. Hence uploaded again 9.1.2012 and e mail also sent. got a reply - cheque raised on 29th December but so far hasn't received it. So more than 6 weeks since first submission and more than 28 days since cheque raised.
Tempted to go down the LBA route.
Please tell me what is the address to send it to?
How successful is it, any experiences ?
Thanks
Similar issues here, no initial approval SMS, chased at beginning of Jan, told cheque raised on 28th Dec, not received cheque so chased again, now been told there was a problem with my cheque raised on 28th Dec and that the issue has now been corrected, but I have to wait up to a further 28 days for the cheque... sounds like a shambles! Debating about whether to give them the 28 days or take further action now...0 -
It doesn't take 28 days to put a stop on a cheque and issue a new one!
If you show them you mean business now, you will be 28 days ahead of the game!!0 -
I'm looking to take out a new contract (to replace my previous cashback deal).
I've spent a few days looking through the T&C's from mobiles.co.uk and ensuring that I clearly understand exactly what is expected of me.
With some of the issues that have been pointed out on here - with purchasing at the end/start of a month, and the billing dates, what do people recommend in terms of when is the best time to take out a new contract ?
Would taking it out today/tomorrow (last 2 days of the month) cause any potential cashback issues/confusions - or would doing so on the first few days of the new month ??
Any help and comments appreciated.
Thanks0 -
Before the end of the month; all you have to do then is see how long they take to pay by the time you claim.0

Hi MJ,
Thanks for your reply.
So apart from them trying it on, it is definitely better to go for it today/tomorrow rather than waiting until 1st of the month ??
Also for clarification, what is the main reason for this ? - Is it because of the billing cycles ?
Thanks again,0 -
Because it cancels out the contradiction in the current t&c.0
