Dont think its far fetched, but i would have just pulled the shelf edge label off and taken it to the till.
I do find their Customer Services attitude,(lack of training?unlike any other supermarket i have ever known.Like maybe cs is just the same as any other dept.
Perhaps there is a MOrrisons staff member who could enlighten us? i do find the staff lovely ,in my local one,as is often the case.Staff are cool cs and management -poo.0 -
The place is absolutely awful. The customers are mainly from the local council estate, the place stinks of crap and the staff uniform and in store decor is dreadful.

Absolutely nothing! In my opinion anyway; let's wait for BusinessStudent's response.
All staff, including CS, (but also notably checkout and café) at Morrisons in Cambourne, Cambridge are lovely in my experience. Not spoken to many of the customers though, not that I see what difference where the customers come from makes to the overall shopping experience. Nor does it make the blindest bit of difference to me what the staff uniform looks like come to that.

That statement is 100% Incorrect.
When I go Into a shop I do NOT want to be in a shop with such vile customers, staff wearing 90s uniform and to be in a dirty store filled with empty coke cans! which customers have drunk BEFORE/without paying for them.
I have a GNVQ in Retail and know what a good shop should offer. Even my retail tutors said Morrisons was AWFUL.0 -
Re the coke cans, retailers call it "grazing".All stores suffer from it,its hardly anything to be shocked about.0

We dont buy meat from morissons any more the last lot of the chicken we bought which was £5.99 bogof was so off it stunk vile, when I opened it and well within its date.
Put me off for good. Always use the butcher now.0 -

How tight is that - hardly encourages good service.
Lots of times I have heard from different people how poorly the staff get treated by Managers - no wonder the staff are so grumpy. Customers can be extremely rude/abusive as well !0 -

Thank you for your informed comment.
Thats terrible and It Is why I strongly encourage anyone not to shop there until they sort out there 'act'.0
