Well in that case then we should refer her to the monitors of the site for causing a problem and a situation you did not expect. (using businessstudents logic that is)0

At what point does someone pay for their shopping with Morrisons and then have half of it taken away or somehthing like that? Or are they selling you something and promising it then not giving it to you? I think you are a little to green to say things like that bud. Lets report then to trading standards and the EHO's of the local authority too. In fact I am sure the tannoy at tesco gave me a headache the other day so I think I maight sue them for that. How much further should I go?
As for M being a textbook bad business case then I did not realise to be classed as bad you had to make a profit and grow a business. These are in fact the only points that almost all business theories agree are factors of a sucess.
No I am NOT joking!
I think It Is time to take attention against Morrisons and let them know how we feel about them.

Wouldn't it be better if Citizens Advice were left to deal with people who really need help eg the heavily in debt etc rather than people who have problems with exclusions on by one get one free offers!0

He's got a point. Just use the store-provided trolleys or baskets like all the other customers. What's the problem?0 -
I work for Morrisons (only on Checkouts) so I don't claim to understand all the business arguments but I would say that we are human and sometimes we do make mistakes. I hardly think that the other supermarkets are perfect either, thinking of some of the complaints on this forum.
Ours is a clean and very busy store with friendly and helpful staff. In my job I try very hard to help customers by telling them of offers - only from memory because the till doesn't give us a prompt. Sometimes customers are pleased to be told, and sometimes they don't want the offer. I also get the complaints when I tell customers that the offers don't apply to reduced items or that they are only allowed to buy two packs of painkillers. I'm only doing my job.
I think we are seen as an old fashioned company in that we don't offer lots of other services and we don't open for 24 hours a day.
Personally I do my shopping there - I like the prices and the offers even if some of the prices have gone up lately. I have spoken to people who work at Tescos who say we are cheaper ( and they have staff discount cards for food which we don't).
I don't often post but just wanted to put my points over.0 -
I must be one of the 'rebel cashiers' mentioned earlier because I will always point out a bogof offer if I know about it. (As long as the customer has managed to terminate their phone conversation) Never been pulled up on that yet, and have heard supervisors pointing out the same to customers also.
Emphasis is always made that we must greet and acknowledge the customer and thank them when they leave. (This is difficult when the said customer is engrossed in a phone conversation though) Can't bring myself to do the 'How are you today day' thing myself but I always at least grin and say 'Hiya'.
The reductions section is a waste of time these days, so often things that are usually £2.69 but two for £5.00 have been reduced to...£2.50, what logic that is!0 -
Loracan, think I must be a rebel cashier too then - I've never been in trouble though. Sometimes wonder about saying anything if there's only one supervisor on and the item is at the other end of the store.
I know what you mean about the mobiles though (mind you some people can barely bring themselves to answer you mobile or not). It doesn't cost anything to say hello.0 -
Plenty of BOGOF today at Morrisons, not far now before I acrue my Xmas stamps. Last week it was dead and a member of staff I often chat with who works on promotions said that they were very quiet last Thursday, she said there were all busy at Sainsburys doing there shopping as they had some good offers that week not that we noticed much, but I never seen it so quiet.
I wonder if maybe that why there are loads of offers today0 -

I disagree.
If you look at just how many underhappy forum members there are about Morrisons then I think some action must be taken against this revolting supermarket.0 -

Good job you are not englishstudent with writing skills like that.
As for how people feel about them I think from some of the above people feel just fine about them. Also all these "rogue cashiers and supervisors" actually telling people about published offers. I am sure that disproves that theory.
What stage of study you at any ways? Can you tell me any of the seven P's? or just needs? Also I note you ignore the fact that in 99% of business models M show qualities of a good not a bad company.0
