When I go Into a shop I do NOT want to be in a shop with such vile customers, staff wearing 90s uniform and to be in a dirty store filled with empty coke cans! which customers have drunk BEFORE/without paying for them.
I have a GNVQ in Retail and know what a good shop should offer. Even my retail tutors said Morrisons was AWFUL.
I take it your tutors didn't explain politeness to you? I have 7 sets of letters behind my name, i also worked in retail and i can tell you that you will NOT last long in that Carree path unless you alter your attitude. I don't live on a council estate i live far from one but i would never class any person who lives on one as lower than me which is what you do! How dare you insult anyone, you have allot to learn:mad:0 -

I honesty think IT DOES matter where the customers come from.
Im sorry folks but the council estate by me Is an utter crap hole filled with the most vile people on this earth.
what a load of crap, people will shop where they want, if people from the local council estate want to shop in the morrisons 10 mins away then they will do,No Links in Signature by site rules - MSE Forum Team 20 -

Good Heavens Hellen!
Morrisons are a very bad company - I was told by an employee that they get shouted out by their managers on the sales floor, rather than backstage.0 -
There is no doubt that Morrisons are the worst out of all supermarkets, they really do treat their staff like cr*ap and this results in very poor customer service. You can see this for yourself if you visit a morrisons employee forum which morrisons are constantly trying to shut down!! The company as a whole will not expand until old Kenny Boy is gone, they are way behind times if you think about it, they only really sell food (which again is pretty crap quality it has to be said although it is cheapish!) do not have a home delivery service, have very little entertainment sections and don't offer other services like insurance which are very profitable for both Tesco & Sainsbury's & they close @ 8pm. I have a friend who used to work there and the tales he has told me are beyond belief. One thing I don't agree with is that their customers are all from council estates (and so what if they were?) You get problem customers in ALL supermarkets
The only reason I visit my local is if i'm going to the cinema & want some munchies or if I want a good laugh, looking at the reduction section gets me in tears :rotfl: The things they try & sell and the prices  For example on my last visit there was a teapot with no handle for something like £3, a bargain I passed on oh and then there was the toaster which had obviously been used & had a note on it saying it burnt when in use, think that was about £7! Some things cost even more than they do newSums up the whole company I think, cheap & stingy - the staff don't even get a discount card (they get some discount on Homeware stuff I think its about 12% but its not worth the bother as it takes months to get the money back. Phew I've gone a bit mad there!

i was told the reason why morrisons dont do insurance, banking, mobile phones or sell alot of non food items is that they want to sell just food stuffs, keep things simple,
i was told that when i went for an interview, their discount card scheme for staff is the worst ive come across, you only get 5%(i think) and you can only use it on food stuffs not cds, dvdsNo Links in Signature by site rules - MSE Forum Team 20 -
Morrisons don't just sell food stuffs granted they have a limited amount of non food stuffs, tins of paint, car stuff, light bulbs, chair+tables (Summer time), coffee machines, microwaves etc.
A friend of mine commentated that they are also unhappy with the amount of offers its certainty gone down hill.
I wont be shopping there after Christmas once I have acrued the Xmas stamps
I am also fed up of the lack of disabled parking spaces, 3 times I have been with my daughter and 3 times there is no parking spaces spare I have been even notice same problem at quiet times. The company doesn't have plans to do something about it.0
