Its probable they can tell via the internet, but if there is no phone and no internet (so you cant use On-demand) then there is no way to tell where the box is. The boxes dont have GPS and even if they did they cant report where they are anyway!

That's rather a problem elsewhere on the forum as well. Personally, I think old threads like this (particularly as they contain very out-of-date information) should be automatically closed to new responses after a given period.
Anyone finding these threads through the forum's search function could easily be prompted to start a new thread if they want to start a discussion on the same topic.
