Hey peeps has anyone else just received a message on their phone saying there is a new software update available??!, if so has any1 updated it??

I never used the stylus anyway so not a problem for me.
I bought a case from carphone warehouse with a voucher I had it does cover the mic and apparently sounds echoey to the listener, not good, using the screen protector though.
Just checked for updates none avaliable for me yet...
Will update if I can though.
No surveys through from Neilsen yet either?

I got my phone tuesday last week and have not had any surveys yet, Almost dissipointed, was quite looking forward to it.

so what version is your handset running now? i found it odd that the date of my software is 2010-10-01. so mine was updated the day some of you got your handsets?
i'm on custom version 011.012.00.01

Thank you for your email. The meter application installed on your N8 device does not have the same access options as you would have seen on your previous phone model. The meter software will always use a wireless connection if one is available. Please ensure that your phone is configured with the desired Wifi connection point so the meter is able to connect.

I don't really understand what they're saying so if someone else does can you explain please. It's set to use my orange network not wi-fi so how will it change?

I think mine just defaults to whatever is available. My access point says Vodafone, however the last access point used for an update was 14 hours ago using my home wifi.

Thanks, I will have to keep checking it. Every time I've looked it has used my orange Internet.

No I got nothing, no first impressions or anything, not in Junk either... Little bit dissapointing.

Regarding the 360 meter wifi access, they're simply trying to say, it wont have the same preferred access point set as your previous phone (Obviously) because it hasn't been used before, but you should be able to use wifi. There's no wifi around my flat so I haven't tried...
