Hi there guys just a quick question, have anyone of you managed to get the 360meter to connect via wi-fi when it's uploading it's data??, if so how??
Can you not do it from
menu > applications > 360 meter > options > settings > double tap access point
I don't have any wi-fi around me, so I can't check0 -
I cant wait to have N8! They already made accessories for him!0

I would love to find out how to do this too, as my old 5800 was able to do it via wi-fi.
I haven't been able to get it to connect via anything! It does use WLAN if you're roaming. (E.g. I'm with T-Mobile, so when I'm roaming onto Orange, it tries to use it. Still always ends up with an upload failed though!)Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0 -
Yes he did confirm in our address/postcode in email. When I logged into the Nielson webpage our address was showing on the front screen but p/code was missing. Guy from Nielson/nokia didn't confirm when dh will receive his N8 tho.0

Hummm ... I earlier thought that someone was "fake" to report "insert SIM card" error.....until I got it this morning. However, things were not so bad as it was for that person, I switched it off and on and it was back as normal....I think it may be related to the network rather than the phone...any views ??
Still.....can not get over the joy of sending people emails with the signature "Sent from Nokia N8" at the bottom of the email
Great phone overall.....loving it even more and more every day.....0 -
Hi everyone,
Need some help.
Can someone please list the Web TV Apps that came pre-installed on the phone. I remember there was National Geographic, but can't remember any off the others.
Does anyone know where on the phone they were saved (c: or mass memory); or iff the .sis / .sisx app for the Web TV channels is on the phone??
Also, other than the Tron videos and the Image files was there any other things like games or Apps that were pre-installed on the phone???
Finally, can anyone upload the images that came with the phone; especially the 3 pictures which can be seen in the background of the 3 interchangeable widget home screens??
Thanks a lot in advance for any help.0 -

Got some good news for you all. As we all know you have to be with three or vodafone to use the iplayer app unless you are connected by wifi. I've just found that the tvcatchup service work a treat. just go to m.tvcatchup.com and either log in or register. You now have a load of free tv channels which you can stream over 3g including BBC, ITV, film4 etc etc etc.:beer:0
