  • This is a breathing/notification light - go to settings, phone, notification lights and then set breathing light to on/off & notification light to alert you to missed calls & messages
    Hope this helps.

    Cool.
I think i'll leave it on as it helps me find it in the dark.
  • This is the iPhone killer if ever there was one.

I can't put it down. My brief deadline has no chance of being met. This is what a good phone does.

Anyone else tried using earphones that come with the phone? I can hear my music thorugh them but I cant change the volume as the volume button the cable doesnt appear to work. Anyone else having the same issue?

PS I work in IT support and being able to plug USB sticks into the phone and being able to format them from the phone is great!

I'm in IT support as well. I never thought of that. Nice!

Had mine nearly a week now and still can't stop fiddling with it. Great phone, much better that I thought it would be.
My buddy at work just recieved his Blackberry Torch, Oh the envious eyes he's chucking me. Makes coming into work worthwhile.:p

Make sure you push the headphone 3.5mm jack all the way in, same thing happened to me.
    Should hear a 'click' sound.
  • I went into a few shops today to show it off. Of course I told them I was looking for a case.

    They were at my knees.

Use the female USB a to micro usb cable that came with the phone. Plug one end into phone, plug usb stick into the other. Don't try to use an unpowered external drive. There's not enough amps to power it.

If anyone wants an idea for a cheap PC follow the below:

    1) Connect Nokia N8 to HDMI enabled tv/monitor
    2) Connect mains powered to phone
    3) Connect mains powered external hard drive
    4) Connect a Bluetooth Keyboard and mouse to phone.
    5) Purchase full version of quick office.

There you have it. You now have a fully multimedia enabled system running at 720p with loads of storage and you can still do all your surfing, e-mailing, social networking, office tools, watch movies and play games let alone all the other apps out and in the future!

I would love to find out how to do this too, as my old 5800 was able to do it via wi-fi.
