Yeah - that was one of the first things I set up on my N8 too - use it loads on my Galaxy and iPod touch too!

Has anyone else suffered with issues with the conversations view of text messages. It seems so random as to whether it shows you the whole conversation or just their replies etc. I had also set it to not save sent messages, but again, random ones are saved!

Think the software still has some way to go before it's an iPhone or Android beater, but it certainly is a nice piece of kit, and I'm more than happy to be using it!

I have an ipod touch and a Satio, since having the touch I just like my Satio even more, you are correct though, if sent messages are deleted then they won't appear in the conversation view.

It was a NOKIA N8 HYBRID ARMOUR CASE HOT PINK + SCREEN PROTECTOR.
Wish I had left it on though as I dropped the phone last night and it now has a scratch at the top near to where the HDMI lead goes in

May try a silicon cover and see if that will work better.

Oh yeah I see the case does cover the sound area, could maybe make a small cut in that area on the case.

Just opened the HMDI port, and saw that's where the IMEI number of the phone is.

Thinking if I should bother getting a screen protector or not, as they do say the screen is scratch resistant but not sure.

I did think of cutting it but it's hard plastic so I think a silicon cover would be easier to cut if it needed it. I haven't used the screen protector yet as I still have the original plastic protector on the phone.

Just read that apparently the case of the phone has been treated to have minor scratches rubbed off.....but not sure how far minor scratches go.

How is everyone finding their phone? I used the navigation to direct me home, but it failed to drive me around busy traffic, but obviously that is a Maps issue, not N8! As for the phone, I'm finding lots of useful features, but it is still quite slow to respond and update, but I'm sure I'll get used to it!

Does the screen change when you receive a text, when you have the screen saver as none/time ?

Mine just makes the sound, and starts flashing the breathing light. Would be better if it showed this on the screen. I changed it to the time display, and it just shows the time, but if you press the power button then it changes and shows the text message symbol.

Hey everyone, only just found this thread, I'm on the Nielsen panel too, got my N8 on 1st Oct.

Off to take a look at the tvcatchup thing, and loving the phone generally, esp as my 5800 was dying!

Everyone happy with it so far? I kind of miss the stylus (and my 5800 one doesn't work with it) - I've ordered a case too, hope I don't experience the sound issue with it.
