Morning folks. I already have a Neilson/nokia usage meter on my phone and they give me £10 a quarter for monitoring my phone usage. They have now offered me a free Nokia N8 (not out yet)if I use it nad let them monitor my usage for 6 months and complete some surveys etc. Then the phone apparently is mine to keep.
Anyone had anything like this in the past? Is it an unlocked phone (if so happy days). Don't want to ask them direct as I dont wand to risk not getting it.

Finally found someone else who's got this offer! I wondered if it was a scam but it seemed to come from Neilson and they have since confirmed my place. Whether I'll ever get it, I don't know! Just have to wait and seeNorthern Ireland club member No 382 :j0

Got the very same offer and applied for it. The e-mail suggested that we were preselected for N8 Panel. Did you get an e-mail from them to confirm your place? What was the reply?

Yep, I got an e-mail back saying I was accepted and they wouldn't start shipping the devices until all the places were filled. When that is, I don't know, but hopefully not too long!Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0 -
Seems nokia is offering alot of N8 for free. a friend managed to get 2 for free in their brainstorm competition. :T0

oh good, someone else is on the panel too! Both my husband and myself had nokia's previously, although I upgraded to blackberry so no longer take part in the panel. But my hubby got the email about the N8, just a matter of waiting for them to be shipped now then?0
