Hi All

I also received an email last thursday from Nielsen advising that my N8 had been dispatched.:T
I emailed them on friday to see if they could provide me with a parcel tracking number.
As there was no response to the email today, I phoned them to get an update.

They advised that they don't have the tracking numbers to provide.
I asked how long I should leave it before ringing them if I don't receive it and they advise 1 week later.

So if you haven't received yours within a week of receiving the email then ring them.

If I receive the phone or a response to the email before then I'll let you know.
I'll also post an update if I ring them for more info

I believe they are being sent direct from Nokia that's why there's no tracking numbers with Neilson.

Still not got My e-mail yet, getting worried!

Ring them to be doubly sure that your on the project, but as long as you are on it, don't worry too much I think we'll all get them soon enough.
At the mo I feel like its xmas eve and groundhog day all in one. I can't wait for it!!

Freddieboy has forbidden Nokia to release them to us as a test group until they are released to the general public.;) He has also pushed the release date back to mid-October. Good thing Nokia UK disagree with him, and I'm inclined to believe Nokia over him.

I really wasn't bothered one way or other when I took up the offer, even as I read about the N8 I wasn't that impressed, I'm not convinced it will be ever be able to offer all the useful apps I currently use on my E71 (google sync, synble, garmin mobile xt, sky mobile, iplayer, mobbler, nokia sports tracker, dondeEsta, Answering Machine, CoolIRC, Nimbuzz, Gravity, Panoman, the list goes on) as symbian3 looks like it's going to be pretty short lived..

However the longer I wait for this phone the more the anticipation builds.

Anyway I thought I'd get involved in this thread, see what colours everyone gets, surely they can't send me out a pink one.. I think i'd have to give it back. By my reckoning they've got to be here today or tomorrow, so lets see some pics of what you get.

Well, some people say they got the dispatched e-mail a week ago last Friday, and there's still no reports of anyone receiving anything. But I suppose if they're coming direct from Finland, it could take a while.
