Can I just, did anyone get a memory card with there phone. Mine didn't, and I don't mind - the price of a memory card vs. price of the phone....I'll take the memory card everytime!!!
Just wondered what everyone else got. The box was very bare - charger, HDMI cable, USB, and headset...and black phone!0 -

Tell you what, I've got a spare memory card. I'll give you that if you give me your phone. So we're both happy. You wanted the memory card, I want the phone!:D
No memory card is included with the phone.Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0 -
Picked mine up this morning, it's sat on charge. Also black.
Had a look how much I can get for my Nokia 5800 - £84 at fonebank.com
Although my taxi driver this morning did offer to buy it... don't think he'd fork out 80 for it though...
Can't wait to turn it on!0 -
Hi All
Im soo happy to say I got mine yesterday and thanks to all your helpful posts have sorted out the issues with the wifi constantly connecting and done all the other bits and am left with a beautiful working phone. Though I am struggling to get used to only having a touch screen (previous phone was an N97)
Its been great on here chatting to you all and seems a shame that when everyone has theres the thread will pobably go quiet as I have quite enjoyed the last few weeks of suspence as we have all been waiting and wishing for our parcles to arrive.
jacobplant i would use ebay if I was you Muzoma offered me £40 for my old spair blackberry and i sold it on ebay for £1200 -

Thus i had to hard reset it again. Fortunately the phone is now completely normal.
Unfortunately all the Web TV links (Paramount comedy, National geographic, etc) have all gone, as have all the images and videos (i.e. the Tron trailers); following the hard resets. I can't find the Web Tv apps on OVI. Does anyone know where I could get these from??????
since you have already tried hard reset, why don't you try the factory default restore to get the links... I had deleted all the links from the 3rd screen and then got it back with the factory restore. Mind well all your configuration settings would be gone,so either re-do these or save it with Nokia PC suite( I personally like the former option)
The factory restore can be done from settings >> phone >>Phone Management >> Factory settings0 -
anyone else had a problem emailing neilson to say they have recieved the phone? each time I do I get the email bounce back.
then again I think my last attempt got through, maybe I havent had enough coffee this morning.0 -
Thank, i've had a look there's quite a few on (being a popluar phone)
Probably in better condition so I think i'll still use the recycle site.
If it wasn't falling apart i'd use ebay.. I've used fonebank a couple of times before anyway..
It MUST be nearly fully charged now..0 -

This is funny...
I tired visiting ovi store with Nokia N8 as my device and I could not download some of the applications which I was using for 5800( an unfinished ebook).
I changed my device settings to 5800 and I could access the ebook as well as download on the N8.
Looks like Nokia is not taking the effort to include all the older applications to be detectable for N8. This could be a big mistake on Nokia's part as N8 newbiees would struggle to find applications and would be strongly disappointed to be deprived to access the complete OVI store.
I am going to raise a support request for this with Nokia.0 -
