New style TSB online banking

Just seen the new look today. Can't say I'm impressed. More a case of continuous change rather then continuous improvement. Main gripe is that when making a payment to a Company or Person, the name field has an 18-character limit. Person field simply truncates if you go over limit, and Company field flags up a warning. Great. I want to pay a company with a 19 character name. Very messy.
Also, the company name database is extrememy poor. Only blue-chips and some public sector seem to be listed. Just like before. Wonder if they are ever going to add to it.0 -
Overall I think the new design is ok but I'd like to know what pillock thought it would be a good idea to reverse the order of the statements!
English is read left to right and top to bottom? or have I missed something?
It's completely doing my head in.
Bizarrely credit card statements still read with newest item at the bottom. Nice and consistent then eh!
And how much money do you think they paid to consultants for that nugget of stupidity!?0 -
Has anyone found any advantages with the new site -(for me there seem to be only disadvantages) have asked LTSB what they perceive as improvements for users, but am still waiting for an answer.
One thing I do like about it is that my account numbers are now listed in account numerical order, whereas before they were listed in sort code order first, then account numerical order (this was because I had to go into a branch to open the last couple, and the ones I opened over the 'phone had different sort codes).
Today was the first day I could view my accounts on the new layout, but unfortunately, every time I tried to click on an account, "web page not available" kept coming up. I rang LTSB to find out what's going on, and they say they're "having a few problems with the new system".0 -

At least they admitted that to you - that's more than I got last night as I tried to set up a payment from my current account to my ISA at another building society. I got patronised by someone in a call centre asking if I'd clicked on the 'continue' button (!) and then when I said that I was using a Mac with Safari got some spiel from him about having to download Firefox and use that instead or 'mebbe your internet security settings are set too high'. The chap I spoke to didn't want to admit that maybe new web pages have teething problems! I would have thought any changes to a website would have to be tested with a variety of browsers and systems before being unleashed?! Certainly up until the changes I've had no problems using their site, either on a Mac or PC, regardless of browser
Update to all that is I've tried making the transfer from work today, from a PC, using Firefox. It still doesn't work. P'raps I'll just stick to the old fashioned method and send a cheque :rotfl:0 -
For all the changes, I still wouldn't be without internet banking.
I am having problems today. Can log in and view my statements. However, when I click on the tab to see dd's and standing orders, I get thrown out. Most annoying as I am on holiday soon and I want to make sure everything gets paid.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -

Having similar problems today too. Can just about login but any time I try to do anything it fails.0 -
I'm still on the old one ... I REALLY want the new one, I think it's much better!0

Is there any way of rearranging the order of the accounts in the list?0
