New style TSB online banking

I am being cynical but I would say the best way to provide feedback is on here (MSE). I tried calling them the morning I went live as I was annoyed that my phone and electricity direct debits were showing as Quarterly when they are taken monthly. They just said that it is the info provided by those companies. I said you can see the dd's are taken monthly, why are you paying them then? Oh we don't use the info for anything. Why do you display it then? Because our customers want it displayed. Yes it would be helpful but only if it's accurate. You need to call the companies. For goodness' sake, who is going to try phoning BT to get Lloyds to amend a dd to show as monthly. Lloyds should be at least able to amend it when it's pointed out to them!
I do all the finances in our house but if I were ever incapacitated you can bet my husband would look at that tab and miss the next monthly payment.
Rant over.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
Well, if their reading this and the new system doesn't already do it, I have a suggestion... When you make a payment it is good that it tells you if it's going to be a faster payment or not (unlike A&L), but if it ends up going immediately by BACS, you can't stop it! This is one good thing about Halifax's system, it gives you that choice.
Oh, and link for making suggestions! ;-)0 -
Does anyone know the best way to provide feedback to them about the new site? I was hoping for an email link but couldn't see one anywhere.
The new site definitely feels slower. Also, I don't like the statements being ordered with the most recent transaction at the top. Interestingly, my credit card statement shows the most recent transaction at the bottom. Not exactly a consistent approach to web design.
No - they actually state that email contact is not available
However -this old email still works: Internet.Banking@LloydsTSB.co.uk
Here's my issues, which have been notified to them - they say they have passed them to their developers...
1) Accounts displayed in some arbitrary order (different from what it used to be-very strange when the accounts are numbered 1,2 3, etc and are not listed in that order)
2) Huge graphic display so I need to scroll down to see all my accounts (and for what purpose??)
(1 & 2 together make doing multiple transfers between accounts [the £1000 vantage shuffle
] difficult to follow)
3) References are not visible when making a payment (references used to distinguish between external accounts in the same name, and also contain credit card numbers)
4) A bug which can display the wrong statement against an account
.....And what have we gained?????0 -
According to Lloyds this is why we have this new site because they have been listening to their customers.0

Try this -if you have more than one accountYou don't actually need to choose 'mini statement' first, you just click on the account name, like before, and everything is there in front of you, including the full statement.
1)click the acc name (acc 1)-statement displayed
2)Select another acc from the drop down at the top - click and display the statement as above (acc 2)
3)Hit the back button to return to Acc 1
The top of the display now gives Account 1 details; the statement displayed below however, is still that for account 2 !!!- take care

True, it does. But using the back-arrow is never a good idea within banking systems. At best, it often just produces a request to 'refresh'.Try this -if you have more than one account

"IT" mantra is - if you allow users to do it they will -its upto web developers to plug the holes and that's a very basic test that should have been picked up in their structured testing.
Most people use the back button automatically and use of it should never display incorrect information -an error; a warning notice maybe but never duff gen.0 -
I have several TSB accounts (including a couple of Vantage accounts:money:) and usually find the online banking service one of the best in my experience, but they have changed it, and I hate it:mad:.
IMO Lloyds since i joined the, some years ago from HBOS had a terrible online service. Miles behind HBOS and even with the new design (as thats all it seems to be) is still behind in terms of functioanlity.
It does at least look better and not like something from the 90's0 -
